  • Don’t fix what’s not broken

Loved this app. Was the first app to accurately predict my period timing which I’m bad at doing myself. This app helped me to carefully plan my pregnancy. It told me when I was late on my period and that I might be pregnant, and it was right! 5 months post partum, switched from Samsung to I phone, re-downloaded the app and it’s completely different. There’s so many annoying ads or purchase requests that I don’t care for. I just want to track my period, know when I will be high/low risk for pregnancy and be able to track my moods/health. Take away all the unnecessary and annoying in app purchase recommendations 😤
  • Good app (3.5 out of 5 stars)

I liked this app for logging my cycles and additional information. The only problems I had were with the “insights” and cost. The “monthly” rate that is actually billed yearly among others. It’s fine if it were actually billed each month. If you’re not paying for the additional information, it kinda feels like a waste to have that much personal info sitting out there. I don’t know. I think this is one of those apps that’s REALLY good if you’re looking to conceive.
  • Made it to my top 3, but has a lot of flaws

After my favorite period tracking app (PinkPad) was discontinued after a decade of use, I had to start the adventure of finding a new app to use for period tracking. Eve made it into the top 3 apps out of the 15-20 apps I downloaded and tried that were made specifically for tracking menstrual cycles. I have been using Eve for 9 months. I have done the free trial for premium and the free version. Things I like about the app: - The app doesn’t look “cartoony” like it was made for a child, like some of the other apps I saw. - The app seems to be pretty accurate on using past menstrual cycle dates to predict the future dates. - The app has a lot of different options for tracking health data. - The Cycle Scope feature seems to be pretty accurate in predicting my energy levels. Things I dislike about the app: - I have zero desire to be part of a community, but the app continues to add me to groups that I have to go and unfollow. Even when I do unfollow, there is always a red dot on Following indicating I have unread posts and there are always posts there. I have emailed the developer about this since it appears to have been a complaint from customers for over 2 years and they pretty much told me that it is what it is. I would think there would be a fix after 2 years... - The notifications (bell in upper corner) is just full of ads and posts I could care less about. I have all notifications set to only tell me when my period is about to start, but this notification wall constantly fills up with garbage. You have to hide them one at a time as well. - The Gems on the Home tab will auto add new topics I could care less about. I only like to use the Cycle Scope, but it constantly signs me up for new things that I have to turn off. - Lastly, the developers do respond when contacted directly, but don’t seem to be very helpful. If I were in the position of this developer and had multiple users of my product complain about an aspect that could be changed with a change of coding, I wouldn’t let the issue sit for years with no fix. I do understand that not all coding changes are easy, but the big complaints I have seen from other users are pretty simple fixes of codes... Overall, I would never pay for the premium version of this app due to the dislikes mentioned above (specifically the last point), but the free version does work even with all the annoyances. I kept going back and forth between a 3 and 4 star review since I would likely give a 3.5 for this app.
  • They don’t let you opt out of your subscription.

I wasn’t able to cancel my subscription and they renewed it two days ahead of time. I’m still trying to figure out a way to get my money back.

I’ve been using Eve to help track my cycle for years, as it is highly irregular. The free version has a simple, intuitive interface and provides an abundance of information and analysis. The extra content is fun but a bit tacky for my taste, like Cosmo gone wrong.
  • No options for male birth control??

They had condom and pull out listed as birth control methods but not vasectomy. Huge oversight. Plus you have to pay to chart your flow rate.

  • One big ad

I’ve been using this app since 2018 when it was great & easy to use. Now it’s too busy & everywhere I click is a premium feature, even seeing the calendar view of my cycle has 2 GIANT ads to upgrade. Too annoying to use, now it’s an unpleasant experience just opening the app.
  • How do I fix that
