They keep charging your card after you have cancelled service with them. Not a good business model. It’s been more than 6 months that I cancelled this service and they keep charging me. 12/25/2020

I've used this for a few years now. It's not bad but lately, it duplicates all of the messages. Very annoying.
  • Ok service, but the admin platform isn’t good

Pros. It’s a second phone line Cons: - Deleted numbers and voicemail without warning. Their system failed to charge my company credit card and canceled my subscription. I received an automated text saying billing error and then updated my card. Everything seemed good. But nope- The system did not tell me the card was not accepted, it silently declined. Then, all of a sudden, no more work calls coming in, my account was terminated. When it canceled, I had to sign up for a new account and reset up all my numbers, voicemails, etc via 7 emails and chat requests. That said, you should know that Their admin platform has no historical records of a past customer’s data. So if you need a real phone service this is not it. Seems like a simple solution to get people to “sign back up” to retrieve their settings. Nope. Sideline just wipes it out.

I signed up I was supposed to get three months for free or till the end of the year it took $100 out of my Apple money I tried to get somebody to reply back to me three times and no one even bothered to answer. I think I wouldn’t feel as bad about having the hundred dollars paid even though I’m not using all of these features if someone would’ve even bothered to get back to me. But the way it goes it was almost like I feel like my money was stolen.

I’ve had this for over three years the only reason I still keep it is because some of my old business cards are still out there. For three years I have complained to this company and have been told more times than I have fingers and toes that they would address this issue. Biggest issue is there is no search feature with this app. If you’re going to use this for a Business and you need to search for a text message it is not going to happen. There is no key word search like there is with apple texting. I have use this app in over 20 states no matter where I am call quality is at Best OK. If you are thinking about getting this so you can cheat on your spouse Or significant other look for another option I am by no means never ever think about this for a Business! It is just not reliable

The access to voicemail is really annoying. If I listen to the VM, I can’t see it anymore without digging through ALL the calls. And I have A LOT of calls. It’s nice to have a the separate line, but it’s almost not worth when it’s so easy to “lose” voicemails.

App is fine for basic second number calls and texting but doesn’t allow to search text messages by contact name or phone number. You have to scroll to find the particular conversation. Also, doesn’t allow you see GIF files in a text. The gif turns to a image. Delayed response when talking on phone. I will talk and person on other end will her me delayed. I know this by the flow of the conversation.

I’ve been using sideline for approx 2 years. But I should explain .. I can only use it for text messages. It has never allowed me to answer a call, simply will not work. At times, I do wonder what I’m paying for. Also if I make a call out. If frequently told it’s difficult to hear me. It’s not clear, definitely sounds funny. I’m considering just getting a 2nd regular phone line that will work well as if already paying for it.

We got this app to use for our business line. It was ok for a while. Lately though it seems like I get more “missed call” pop ups that don’t even ring. I’m not sure why. Sometimes I’ll even be on my phone so I can’t just be missing the call. I’m frustrated because they could be potential customers calling and as a growing small business (especially right now!) we can’t be missing them. I also wish we could save contacts without having to have them entered into my personal contacts cause I don’t want that. Also, having to “press 1” every time to answer a call is also annoying. If I can answer it, I’m going to answer it. I shouldn’t need to verify I want to answer it. If the missed calls keep happening I may be looking at other options. So it’s an ok app but I’m not completely happy with it.
