Description

Illustrator on the iPad works intuitively with your Apple Pencil so you can create stunning graphics anywhere you happen to be. And, as a 1.0 release, this is just the beginning. Design with precision, as naturally as you would with pen and paper. Create lines, shapes, type, gradients, and effects. Merge or cut graphics with quick Pencil gestures to remove unwanted areas. Make your graphics pop with all-new effects such as point gradients, radial repeats, patterns, and symmetry. Work on a project across Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Fresco. Plus, your Illustrator work is automatically synced to the cloud, so you can always access the latest version from your desktop or iPad. There’s so much to discover. Illustrator on the iPad comes with over 18,000 fonts, 20+ color palettes, up-to-the-minute livestreams from famous creatives, and guided tutorials. This app is part of Adobe Creative Cloud. I have just downloaded this app that I finally thought was free. This app is a big foolish trap, because let me tell you that I read the reviews on all apps I download. Also all the reviews didn’t say ANYTHING about how you have to pay in order to actually use the app. I was trying to look for something free. I believe that most of these reviews are fake and paid for because they are all telling lies. So I you want to pay for this app go right ahead but if you are looking for something free then I suggest that you fin another app.

I don’t think I’d call myself a professional, but I am a Junior Design major and use the entire desktop Adobe CC Suite on my MacBook on a daily basis extensively. My laptop is off for repairs and I decided to try and use my large iPad Pro as a temporary replacement. I know that this app is only version 1.1 but so much of the app feels half baked and very poorly executed. The app supports keyboard commands and shortcuts but a lot of them just don’t work, like CMD [ or ] to move layers. Also transforming and moving images is a nightmare, it jumps around and seems that it only lets you move images in 15 degree intervals. And for some reason if you select an image and try to transform or move it it with the mouse everything freezes and you can’t deselect anything. If you want to create vector based graphics on your iPad don’t waste your time or money, use Affinity Designer.

I downloaded this, signed in, and now it tells me the first month is free, then $9.99/month just to use the thing. What a scam! The last Adobe could do is mention this in the description. Ditching this quickly.

Not quite as easy as initial videos convey but still good. Maybe I’m still not fully used to using a tablet.

I can’t even get the app to start. It starts up and as soon as new project loads it crashes. It’s done it like 5 times now.

I’ve been using Adobe tools on iPad for years, and this is the app I’ve been waiting for! It makes the iPad virtually a strong as a Wacom tablet when it comes to Illustrator! Thank you Adobe, for producing an experience that’s on par with iPad Pro! 🖋 You did it! 🎉
