By default the app will fill in missing tags and properly indent the page.
Why? It's a good practice to make your HTML code clean and readable.

Purchased and wasn’t looking for miracles… However, I did expect it to work at soem level!
At present, it does absolutly nothing!
Pasted code into left pane and clicked on format… Nothing happens at all!
It just doesn’t do anything, in anyway and the right pane does not show formatted code or anything else for that matter.
I have contacted the developer but at present it seems this app is only to get $2.99 out of you and gives nothing in return.
I installed on Mac OS X 10.13.3
