I noticed Norton Ad Blocker is not working so well as it used to on websites, YouTube? Ads and pop-ups, cookies, are getting through. Any new updates coming out for iOS 14?

Hello, I would like to clarify for all of the people who left a 1-star rating, or something, saying that it didn’t work at all because you only used it on YouTube, or just that it didn’t block ads on YouTube, that is because the ads are completely integrated into YouTube, just like the videos. The content of the ad is given to YouTube by the advertising company or person, and they put it into their system. On some other websites, though, the content is sort of integrated by the advertiser rather than the website creator themselves. You can think of it as the ads being on a separate layer from the website contents, and Norton removes the ad layer. On YouTube, however, the ads are in the website layer, and Norton’s job isn’t to separate ads from the website layer and remove them, completely changing the website. It is to remove the ad layer, which doesn’t exist on YouTube. So, in conclusion, Norton is doing its job perfectly fine, to remove the ad layers of websites on Safari.

If you use anything else besides Safari this app won’t work. Doesn’t work for YouTube, games or other web browsers that aren’t Safari this isn’t going to block ads on those.
  • It’s worth

It’s been amazing on the browser and that’s what it’s meant for so the bad reviews are talking about games and apps. It’s worth it
