  • Insightful app, however...

    It’s pretty disappointing that the The pattern would begin charging its users for features previously available and especially during a pandemic when lots of people have lost their main source of income and can’t afford to pay for an app that frankly repeats a lot of the same information. Not being able to fully run a bind and “go deeper” as it pertains to connections with others is quite disappointing and could be a deterrent for referring the app to others. It’s like using a trial version for something that was once fully accessible.

    I never review but I NEED them to hear this. I don't feel the subscription idea isn't bad when it came to your "dating app" announcement since most dating apps also have subscriptions, it wouldn't be so odd. What is terribly odd is to put a price on features on the app that have been free since forever! The best parts of the app was the ability to go "deeper". What's the sense in adding a subscription feature to things your users have been loving and relying on for years? I took to the recent app store reviews and found I was not alone. I used to recommend your app to everyone, even people who were skeptical about astrology simply because your app has always been so digestible. I can no longer do that since my favorite features are now needing to be paid for. Why would anyone who was skeptical of astrology start off paying for information? This doesn't feel like a smart business move on your behalf and I hope you reconsider this soon. Until then, I will be removing the app from my phone.

    When I first had this is app a while back I enjoyed the insights, but after get a new phone, forgetting about it and then downloading it again I realized how negative it can be. I’ll read upcoming an upcoming “timing” and it makes me negatively anxious about the future. I’ve had a very rough year (like many) and I prefer apps that can show some good coming rather than everything will be doom and gloom. It’s not for me during this fragile time in my life.

    I find myself avoiding this app because I hate how annoying it is to click through a bunch of screens to read one paragraph. It’s like when you open an article and it’s a page by page slideshow. I just find it too annoying to read and can’t save the insights.

    You’re the reason why I don’t update any of my apps. I get you’re trying to make money but it’s ridiculous charging for Info that was once free. Any other add value to the pro version? Prob not.

    App forced update and is now asking me to pay to unlock the compatibility details. Is the app cost $30 id buy it. I had like 10 people locked in there, not I have to pay for something that was free yesterday. This is when I stop using the app. Thanks for the free years!

    I keep getting the same patterns over and over again. It’s like the same 4 that repeat weekly with a few new patterns sprinkled in every once in awhile. I’m also reading that there’s an up charge and I haven’t seen anything that costs on this app. So it’s definitely broke and yes I’ve updated it.

  • Used To Love, Now I’m Disappointed

    I never write reviews. I used to religiously use this app, it had become one of my favorites! Up until their recent update where they make you pay for the information that they never charged before! An app that has been in the app store for years. I honestly think it’s quite greedy that they would put such a price on it as well, especially during a pandemic which has costed so many people to lose their employment titles. This was truly a top performing app up until they decided to put a monthly charge on it, honestly ridiculous and quite disappointing. I know myself and many other people will not be using this app anymore. Please, don’t be purchasing a month subscription to The Pattern when there NEVER once one before, it’s such a greedy move for them to do. Highly disappointed. I used to recommend this app to my friends, but now I wouldn’t. They most likely will not be interested in The Pattern anymore omg e they’ve come to reality that they are now trying to charge people for the same information that was previously free from the beginning.
