This app was great when I had it few years ago.. Then I bought it once it became a subscription app... but then it became a pain to use... I used to send pictures to the app from my photos, email or browser to open in the app and modify, now nothing could be shared with the app, same when I export a project to email it takes hours to show up in the email. I am very disappointed and feel cheated!!! By the way it’s same problem with iphone and iPad!! I deleted and reinstalled the app few times with no effect! Will you fix this problem
  • The Sweet Spot

This app is fantastic. It sits in between full-on painting apps, and full-on note taking apps. It can do all the core things you expect from both activities and does so with minimal fuss, with focus on your work. The attention to detail in the UI and the overall ergonomics of its design is great. I especially like the color system and the simple approach to give me only what I want. You might think well if I have apps for both notes and painting why bother? Because this is the sweet spot and it merges those two worlds with a great app. I own so many apps and while they each have their strengths they also have weaknesses. Procreate can take notes, sure, but you can’t search or tag or have stacks in stacks or so on. Notability can draw but there are no layers and managing z-order requires predictive context switching away from the work - you just know what is going to be on top of what. Good Notes has a great background and templating system, but the pen feels a little less good to me than Notability. We are multidimensional users. Do you know how frustrating it is in notability and good notes to undo? Yes the 3 finger universal iOS gestures work, but I grew up an iOS child with 2 finger tap undo, 3 finger tap redo, etc. Linea Sketch has the features I need in 1 app vs exporting and juggling between apps and formats. Is it perfect? No, but it’s very good and the developers and designers really know what we need. I would love to see a bit more customization on UI, including more flexibility for tool brush sizes and color picking tap and hold gesture. It’s a bit odd that there is no tap and hold gesture to pick colors. Last wish: some ability to tag my documents and search on them. Hopefully we will also get handwritten to text search like notability and good notes. Thanks for this fantastic app!
  • Simple and clean drawing app!!!

I bought this app not long after it came out and was quickly converted I have used and loved other drawing apps and god knows there are many to choose from. But this has always been the one I come back to. The tools are just enough and quite frankly work, not to mention it is nice to have an app where the smudge brush works like a proper smudge brush. Most of the other apps have way to many options and then more to buy and it gets to overwhelming. They did switch to a subscription model and honestly I get it; I know it disappointed many but if you love using the software as I do then $.99 a month or $9.99 a year is a small price to pay to support an app I use all the time!! Hell I spend more when I treat myself to a goddamn Starbucks. There is even a free way to use the app if you don’t mind dismissing the reminders to subscribe and a watermark. That said I really don’t know how that side of it works because I don’t mind paying for a quality product. I hope whoever reads this review at least considers trying the app before hating on it. I know I will continue to love drawing with it!

I paid for this app. Ten bucks, and I was happy with the transaction. The developer decided they wanted to engage in further development. Fine by me. They also claim in their FAQ that the 3.0 version is a 'new product.' That's quite strange, as it auto-updated my existing, paid for product into one which is asking to be paid for again. I look forward to the instructions to use my paid for application indefinitely -- without nag screens, and without watermarks. I won't hold my breath.

I already bought this app a while back and use it regularly. This morning I see they no longer acknowledge that purchase and are trying to extort more money for continued usage. Bait and switch! Refund the original price or give existing users grandfather rights.
  • I'm impressed - simple app with just what I need

Nothing more and nothing less, perfect app for me. I just wanted something simple to create sketches of my ideas, I'm not an artist so don't need any fancy artist features or anything like that. Simple UI and UX makes it a pleasure to work with!

I made a picture and I don’t know how to send it it’s for the cover and it is rainbow 🌈 And instead of a Apple pen 🖊 a pencil and a rainbow pencil not just any ordinary pencil also made it draw pastel rainbow swirl puddles with the smear pencil type it is reallly cool 😎 review: I love this game but u should add more paper 📝 and also I love how you added what the paper looks like especially the hexagonal type:) and the colors are so cool also that you added the darker version just in case u wanna draw something sad with those colors. 100000058638/100000000058638 😜 but u should really add more of the pictures like mine is cowabunga and we NEED RAINBOW AND MORE STUFF IN IT .sorry caps and I LOVE this game I go on it every single day! Well thats my review bye! Wait your still there leave bye!👋

They keep REMOVING my review which I reported to an appalled Apple 🍏 Rep from Apple Care! I bought this app. It was NOT cheap. I entered into a contract with this company. In the interim, the developers got greedy and decided to implement a subscription. Evidently, they are not smart enough to employ any lawyers. They claim they are giving away a "free year"! Ah, duh, your customers PAID for the app. How do you figure you are bestowing a "free year" upon them? Subscriptions for apps which leave you, the customers, owning absolutely NOTHING are maddening enough. But this company takes it one step further by refusing you access to your own work and to the aging app once their benevolent "free year" is over! This is the one and only app with such contempt for its customers that leaves you as if you had never entered into a contract with them to begin with. This is clearly ILLEGAL. Just note the tone of derision of the response to the complaints. Do yourself a favor and buy a high quality art app Procreate for a one time fee! There is even a free guide book in Apple's bookstore. Also, at the end of your so-called "free year", contact Apple Care. Just add a reminder to your calendar. They will refund you YOUR money but cannot do so until this so-called "free year" has expired. You can find out when you BOUGHT this app under settings or do a search in your email affiliated with your Apple ID. Apple WILL back you up! You’ll receive your refund. They want to be notified in cases of shady apps. You just have to take the initiative. The money will be returned to their rightful owners and will be no longer be laughing all the way to the bank! LASTLY, they added a $30 lifetime charge. Well, after your "one free year" is over you have a heck of a case for having this app for life because you’ve ALREADY PAID for it!!! To the schmucks at Sketch... ever hear of cut and paste? LOL!
