WeTransfer is the simplest way to share your biggest ideas. You can transfer 2GB of files or folders safely and seamlessly around the world for free, or log in to WeTransfer Pro to send up to 20GB at a time. Click the icon in your menu bar to choose which files to send, or drag and drop multiple items right onto the icon. You’ll get a download link that you can share with people before the transfer is deleted after seven days. If you have WeTransfer Pro, you can sync the app, access your account directly, and manage your preferences to decide when transfers are deleted.

    This program refuses to die. It would not do anything and then when I tried to delete it it would not shut off and drained my battery. when I put it into a folder it jumped out again and refused to shut off. I found a We Transfer shortcut icon in my file and deleted it first. Then I had to put it into a file folder then move it several timesto a deeper folder then delete the folder to be rid of it.

    I downloaded this app on my Mac and it won’t open but when I try to delete it I get a message that says it open and I can’t delete it. It’s useless! I had to do a web browser search and transfer files that way. wetransfer.com

  • Drains battery overnight

    I had to uninstall your app because it was draining my battery in sleep mode. I'm on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) with macOS Catalina 10.15.1 Prior to installing the app I would have my MacBook charged to 100% and close the lid then wake up to it being just over 90-95%. When I installed your app and closed the lid then woke up it would be at 25%. I checked Activity Monitor over the past 24hrs and WeTransfer was the only thing draining battery and at high usage. Once I uninstalled the app my MacBook went back to normal activity. Why would your app be using that much battery in sleep mode?

    I love Wetransfer! This app works just like the web version, except it's always ready to use on your Mac. I'm considering Wetransfer Plus. Wetransfer team: Please keep updating and bring more stuff to the App Store.

    Downloaded the app and it wouldn't open. After trying to put the app in the trash I get a message that I can't delete the app because it open. WeTransfer, what's the deal? This is a dead app.

    By why do I have to choose one
    It's appears as a stylized "we" in the status bar (to the left of the time and wifi icons.) Just drag file to the bar and it starts the transfer.
