  • You need a Windows computer

If you have a Garmin Alpha 100 with TT15 collar to track and train your dog and you want to update the software you can’t do it with MacOS. You can do only it with a Windows computer. It’s a great collar, but that’s not enough of a reason for me to get a PC.

Why Garmin makes you log into their service to run a bark collar is beyond me. I guess they want to harvest your email and drown you in sales pitches. What makes it even worse is that their server is never available. So that dog collar you just paid for won’t work very well.

title says it all, i have plenty of bluetooth apps that don’t require an account. I’m assuming it’s so Garmin can sell my info, but it may just be clues staff.

For weeks now I cannot get the app to communicate with the Server. Customer service number does not exist. Too bad it is too late to return the collar!
  • This is 100% the worst app EVER!

For Pete’s sake, this app is confusing as heck! I’ve got 100 other apps on my phone that are more intuitive than this. Not to mention, the instruction manual that came with my VT2 was pointless. What the heck are the ‘Training’ and ‘Activity’ buttons for? What do they do? Why do I have to take the darn thing off the collar to simply change modes!? Someone certainly didn’t think this through or elicit consumer input. I will likely be returning this if I can’t figure it out in the next week.

I have been using this app for hours now. Communication has not improved one iota. Our dog is still barking and we still cannot understand what he is trying to say to us. I’m not sure if someone has fallen down a well, the neighbors’ house is on fire, or if he is concerned about the current political situation of our country — very frustrating. If you are truly wanting to know what your canine family member is saying, this is not the app for you.

I just downloaded this app about 3 days ago and I’ve yet to be able to get into it. It keeps just saying it can’t connect to the server and to try again in a few mins. Garmin in a pretty big company and to have such a horrible app it’s sad

Can’t connect to the collar to monitor activity unless I’m less than 10 feet away. Should make a way to connect the collar to WiFi and remotely monitor activity/barking. Can’t close out of the activity screen because the X is in a bad spot (iPhone X). Overall just a disappointing app and not at all what I expect from Garmin.

Using electronic shocks for any pet is cruel and inhumain.. Other successful none - shock methods exists. There should never be a ”shock” applied to any pet. Rule 1: Applly the collar to the pet. Apply the collar to the human Verify the human feta the shock at the time that the let does. Now see how you like it. Developers: Remove these products from use. Have a dialogue with spcaLA.

Great app but its super slow at connecting to the collar and sync wise it wont sync all the information right away so really no point to using the app sometimes it will connect right away and sometimes ill be right next to the collar and it wont connect at all.
