Vegan Pocket - Is it Vegan?

This app is a scam. I subscribed & began exploring the app to find there’s barely anything to it, all I could find was 6 recipes, the scanner, & a “vegan diet” description with information I already knew. Perhaps I’m missing something here, & I just can’t find anything else, but I doubt it. I kept the app regardless bc I mean I paid for it, plus I planned to use the scanner to make sure products were truly vegan if I wasn’t certain. Probably the worst thing about this app is the fact that when you scan a product it does find the exact product, however IT DOES NOT TELL YOU IF THE PRODUCT IS VEGAN, it simply asks you to thumb up or down if you think it is, and you can see how many people thumbed up or down on the product. I guess if your product has a significant amount of thumbs up, maybe you can trust it? But I’m not going to. I was under the impression this app would tell me for a fact whether products were vegan or not, plus include vegan recipes, but with the measly amount of 6 recipes & a vegan “opinions” scanner, I feel like I was completely mislead to believe this app was much more than it is. I would love to know if I am in fact just missing the rest of the recipes, but regardless I have already unsubscribed, I don’t see myself using the app anymore either. I thought this would be something worth investing in because I could simply scan & know if a product is vegan, including some recipes too but this app unfortunately doesn’t deliver almost anything it promises. If there is a true vegan scanner app, THIS IS NOT IT!

Please keep updating. I just downloaded this app as I am knew to vegan food and need help finding vegan items. I downloaded, and scanned just a couple of items I had around, and none of them were recognized. I also can’t enter them myself and label it vegan or not, because I don’t know vegan ingredients and such yet. This app could be wonderful for beginners if items were in the database

When I downloaded the app, it said you’d get two months free. Instead, my card was charged immediately. I’m working with Apple to get a refund because this app essentially is vegan crowdsourcing and doesn’t contain any valuable information.

App does not tell me if it’s vegan it makes me rate it

App claimed to give two months free but yet i was charged.

It said I would have a 2 month free trial period before it charged me the $20 for a yearly subscription. After 5 seconds on the app I decided it wasn’t worth it and canceled my free trial but it charged me anyways and after only 1 day of having the app. I can’t find any email or phone number to contact the makers of this terrible app. Scam

Didn’t work on any of my items. Just asked if I thought it was vegan or not. How is this $20??!!

There are literally 5 recipes, stupid obvious advice everyone knows, and you basically have to tell the app whether or not something is vegan. Terrible.

i clicked the two month free trial option and still got charged $20 and can’t get my money back. i don’t have a way to contact them either.
