When one tries to enter a dB name, the app crashes.

The app closed every time I clicked on “Test Connection”. So I deleted it. This happened the 4 times I tested it.

Really great SQL on both iPad and iPhone!!
  • Slow typing with large queries

Very nice app, the only professional-feeling SQL editor I’ve seen on iOS. I got it reading directly from GitHub using Working Copy. However it is too slow on my first generation iPad Pro. Anything more than 20 lines has a noticeable lag when typing. Past 50 lines, the lag is >1 second per character and unusable.
  • No pop ups

Updated review: Great software, but the pop ups are annoying. It may be Apples guidelines, but that does not mean it is respectful of your users’ experience.
  • Do not upgrade

The old version could be used, even it can only support 1 server. Since the new version, you cannot use it anymore unless you have to pay to upgrade to premium version. Not honest!
  • Pricey but decent

This is a nice tool to have on the iPad, but the price is much too high for me to replace using Microsoft SQL Studio via Remote Desktop. I don’t see a whole lot of difference in the basic experience, which is perhaps a credit to the capabilities of SQLPro. Although it is nice to have an app for SQL queries, which is why I took a look at it, I don’t find that worth the price and loss of the full capabilities of SQL Studio.

this is one of the few app that really makes me use the Ipad for running my business instead of using the ipad jut to read emails on the go !!! the price is nothing compared with the benefits... Excellent Service and support from the developer, he has already added suggestions that make the app more usable !! will recommend it 110%...
  • Azure SQL DW support?

Wish it supported Azure SQL DW — it DOES support normal Azure SQL (PaaS), but not Azure SQL DW (SQL Server Data Warehouse). It is SO close, but fails on connect because it tries to set ANSI_NULLS which is not supported on SQL DW.
  • By far the best MS SQL SERVER Client for iPad

I have been using iPads almost since the first one came out and never found a database client that worked well for me (been through numerous ones trying over the years) till now. Before had to pull out my laptop to do anything, now for most stuff I easily work on things from the iPad. Only infinitesimal issue I have is wish it had better options for execution plans since I need to optimize queries a lot, but that may not even be possible. Just so happy to have a client that works.
