    All I get is an initial start-up screen about signing up for 3 months free of Pro. I want more info before I click on an app button to sign up for any offer.

  • Forced Pro Sign up??

    I’ve only ever needed the free version, and I’ve found it to be very useful. Now suddenly the app opens immediately to the Pro Version sign up splash screen with no way to get out of it. It is suddenly useless unless I sign up for Pro. UPDATE BASED ON DEVELOPER RESPONSE: There is no visible “SKIP” to click to bypass the Pro splash screen, but I am able to dismiss it by tapping randomly at the far upper right corner. I’ve tried both vertical and horizontal orientation and adjusted screen brightness both directions, but still see no skip option. Maybe make the “SKIP” option next to the sign up option to thoroughly clear up the problem and avoid confusion as well(?).

    After The first couple hours I could tell I would not trust this app in places I don’t know. Just searching around my area it’s so crazy in accurate. I think to make this grow, they should pay us to make it a great app with all the info we would feed it. Until then, I wouldn’t pay $40 to be able to search the same info or a Google map.

  • Don’t use to plan a trip

    I’m not sure exactly what this app is for. I searched out a campsite and they listed a good 30-40 sites available. So we made plans, packed, and we’re all ready to go. I checked the app again just to make sure before we left that there were still sites available. Luckily I decided to go through the process of reserving one of the “available” sites. The app of course can’t actually do that. Instead it takes you to the recreation.gov website where I discovered that all the sites were actually already booked. What good is the app if the information is incorrect? Might as well just get on the internet and find a place that way. At least you won’t prepare for a trip only to find out you have no place to stay.

    Downloaded and tried out the free week on the pro account on a road trip we’re currently still on. Was particularly interested in the BLM an USFS sites they advertise but it’s almost impossible to find free-dispersed camping sites through this app. Seems like paid for sites are getting priority in the searches if not just the only ones that show up. Prob fine if you’re looking for advertised camping buy not for off the beaten path public lands accessible spots. Unsubscribed before the free week was done and have found other apps that fit our needs.

    I’ve tried them all and this is the one I’d keep if I could only keep one. Info seems very up to date and the trip planning feature is really good. My one wish would be the ability to add non campground waypoints/places of interest to the trip planner. Easy enough to send the map to your gps of choice and add it but in app would be awesome. Great app!
