Description

"Asmodee Digital has been doing a great job with their virtual board game releases, and Onirim is just another fantastic addition." - App Advice "Onirim is a straightforward, well made implementation of a solitaire game" - Board Game Quest "Asmodee has a pretty excellent record of bringing well-regarded modern boardgames to mobile. Onirim is no exception, providing a twist on the solitaire card game that's just perfect on your phone.” - Pocket Gamer A Golden Geek Best Solo Board Game Nominee, Onirim is a card game where you play as a Dreamwalker, lost in a mysterious labyrinth, and you must discover the oneiric doors before your dreamtime runs out - or you will remain trapped forever! Wander through the chambers of dreams, hoping that chance will reveal the doors, or linger in each type of room. In either case, you will have to deal with the slithering Nightmares which haunt the hallways of the labyrinth. Onirim is a solitaire card game. You must work against the game to gather the eight oneiric doors before the deck runs out. You can obtain door cards either by playing cards of the same color three turns in a row or by discarding one of your powerful key cards when a door appears from the deck. In both cases, you will have to decide the best use of each card in your hand and carefully play around the Nightmares. Those cards are hidden in the deck and will trigger painful dilemmas when drawn. In addition to the exciting solo mode, players will enjoy the intuitive user interface, automated deck management, and stats to track their progress and successes against the game! Onirim includes : • Shadi Torbey's base Onirim game in solitaire mode • Original artwork from the base game by Philippe Guerin and Elise Plessis, enhanced by animations • Solo play • Detailed, interactive, turn-by-turn, in-game tutorial. • Offline stats record so you can track your progress • No in-app purchases or ads • Languages available: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish To find more information about Asmodee Digital, please go to http://www.asmodee-digital.com/onirim Having an issue? I can’t recommend getting the free first expansion enough. I mean it’s free, but it also adds a lot to the game and makes me like it a lot more. The only real negative thing I can say about this game is that it doesn’t have the option to buy all the cool expansions that are available in real life. So really I’d recommend buying the game in real life and it’s promo expansions. Another negative for this game is I think the audio could be better but I also get that it’s an app and they probably didn’t want to put a ton of budget into it. This is not just an issue with this game but a lot of board game apps. Oh well. Despite both of these complaints and owning the physical game in real life, I still play this a ton.

I like the game, but can’t always play on iPad. Any way to zoom in so old eyes can see it on an iphone? I have the 11 Pro Max, but the game is small and centered on the screen with ~1/2in black borders on each side.

I love this game, but would love to see more of the Oniverse games be made into apps. They are all a lot of fun and I think some of them would work better as apps.

When I got this game I thought it would be fun but the game is so challenging I always get the same kind of card every game! I forgot what those monster cards are called but there are to many of them! There should be less. This game needs to be easier I know it’s the point of games to be challenging but this has gone far enough I’ll still play it it just makes me mad!
  • Anti-climactic win

Excellent game. Beautiful graphics. Love the creepy music. But when u win it is super anti-climactic like I want a song! Or some kind of a jingle. Make something dance across the screen. It makes a little two second sound. COME ON! I worked hard to conquer this game. I think I deserve a jingle. Something loud (I want the whole world to hear) cuz yeah, I’m one of those.
  • Missing tactile feedback

This is the most enjoyable and addictive game I've played in quite a while (along with Onitama); to the point that I had to buy the physical copy too, just so I could get the tactile sensation from shuffling and handling cards and to get my eyes off the screen for a bit. Since the boxed copy has all of the expansions, I'm looking forward to continue expanding this one as well. The best part about owning the app version is being able to play a few quick games without the physical real estate and setup required by the cards; which isn't a lot; but it's something greatly appreciated while on the go. This game is straight up 🔥🔥🔥

Seems like a fun & different game, but I couldn’t get the manual discard option to work

It is well known for those who follow Zee Garcia from The Dice Tower that he adores this game. I’ve never tried it because there’s a lot of shuffling involved. This app works beautifully and takes away all the downtime of shuffling and searching the deck for the door cards. Well made, Asmodee!

I was looking for an alternative to Solitaire on my phone and this game fits the bill. It’s easy to learn and the games don’t take too long to play. It’s a little more challenging than solitaire and I’m looking forward to adding in more expansion packs to continue challenging myself. I highly recommend this game.
