    The single only reason I subscribed to YouTube TV was so I could watch football games on my phone with Picture in Picture. For some unexplainable reason, this app will not allow that. I will be switching to Hulu with Live TV. This is unbelievable.

    We switched from Hulu Live when they dropped CBS and upped their fees. At first I was frustrated that the Live stations weren’t alphabetical but once I figured out how I could personalize, I love that. What I wish was included is a thumbnail of the episodes in the library (and maybe the Live guide too) I’m used to and need to know what each episode is about... to remember if I’ve seen it and just to know what it’s about. Maybe you could add that in the future? Please.

    If you like regional sports or tennis channel keep looking. They keep dropping channels right after a price hike. Classic bait and switch. Hey YouTube TV? What’s the next channel “you can’t come to terms with?”

  • Why are there ads now on old VOD shows now?

    I used to love this app, but now there’s unskippable YouTube-like ads on old VOD shows which makes no sense. Already paying a good amount of money for this subscription monthly, it should at LEAST be ad-free. Makes no sense at all.

    YouTube, YouTube tv, and YouTube music are supreme apps, all other apps fail in comparison. Fact!!!

  • Video on demand broken

    When playing video on demand with ads, any interaction makes the app freeze. If you have to restart, the app won’t remember your place in the movie and will make you watch more ads just to get back to where you were. Oh, and viewing history does not work. If you start watching an episode on demand and don’t finish, perhaps because of a crash, the app will remember neither which episode you were watching nor the place where you left off. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen an on-demand streaming service without this functionality. All this for $65 a month. Update: viewing history only doesn’t work if you previously disabled it in regular YouTube. Why YouTube TV would repurpose the same setting for a completely different service is beyond me.
