    I have played this game for many years, it’s one of only 2 or 3 that I’ve kept and played daily. But it can be annoying and frustrating at times, and this review is the only place to complain. The gameplay is great (except for the annoying sounds, but I turn the volume off) in the regular game. The tournaments have always been an exercise in patience. It is hard to get people together in real time, with varying internet connections, but I’d rather play the computer than wait endlessly for other people to join. And less people are joining because of the waiting. It’s so close to being great that it’s sad. And of course it does freeze in the tournaments. I wish the developers would revisit this. Maybe even make a new tournament with only the regular power ups. Another complaint, and the one that brings me here today, is the daily rewards are weirdly stingy. Now, you don’t want to give out too much, but 1 coin? Or tickets? And the past 4 times, they have not given me the Mega Bonus. That’s about once a month. If you’re not going to give it, don’t promise it! That’s just insulting.

  • Can’t boggle just make a nice simple game?

    First of all I cannot change my username or add a picture or anything. I cannot click on the edit button or settings or help. Nothing happens. I’ve tried restarting and uninstalling and reinstalling. It just doesn’t work for me. Honestly all I want to do it just play basic boggle by my self every once in a while to hone my skills or just pass a few spare moments. But this game is way more complex than that with power ups and triple word scores and stuff. So unnecessary. Just a way for them to make money as are allllll of the ads you are forced to watch over and over. I would much rather pay a few bucks to never watch any ads but that isn’t an option. I guess I will resort to a knock off app. You have to pay coins just to play a game by yourself! (Against the coach) and the only way to get these coins for free is to play with the total strangers boggle suggests for you. So so dumb. No thank you.

  • Paid for no ads...getting ads

    I have been playing this for years with the paid for no ads version. All of a sudden I’m getting ads as I’m waiting for tournament results or a distracting ad banner scrolling at the bottom of the screen all the time. I can’t even re-buy the paid version (not that I’d want to!). Otherwise I love the game, but as a daily player, these distractions and interruptions make me not want to play at all!

  • Used to be good...

    First...stop this max rotation Grubhub ad that takes over my phone, involuntarily opens my browser and App Store. I close it out and when I reopen my browser the app window opens the App Store again. Holy crap! Second, lose the stupid Becky “you got this” voice and 80% of the other stupid pointless noises. They add nothing to the game. The 60 and 10 second warnings are fine. Fix the errors in the rewards collection. It’s been going for months.

    These ads so have an exit option. When this as comes up all you can do is quit, so your automatically lose. Aargh.

    Hard to play other users that’s not in your friend list. When I invite new people, after they sign up I can’t locate them for a game

  • Glitches in software

    After I played a competitive game using one of my power ups a glitch in the software gave me 0 points! This resulted in my opponent winning the game because I had 0 points in the 3rd round!!!!!!

  • If you want to play without power ups...

    If you prefer to play without all the extras - just straight up Boggle - find my name and challenge me. I don’t care for all the extras to make the game easier.
