Finally...finally :) I *just* purchased this app, after looking everywhere for alternatives - just to see what was out there (if anything). I’m really surprised that none...zero (at least of any browser I’ve found) other web browsers on iOS have any web dev tools, even the most-basic... That’s when I bought this app and it’s great! I’ve only been using it for about 5 minutes now, so I can’t really give too much of a “useful” review other than the main functionality of this app works really well. Off the bat though, I do agree with another commenter here regarding one missing feature that would *really* help - which is when viewing a pages source, it’s currently just black-text. ...that’s not so helpful when looking at code... A syntax highlight/beautify mode (or just always, by default because I’m not really sure why anyone wouldn’t want this on). So that’s my quick review and one fairly big “issue” that makes it so-so-close to being really-great. I’d really be happy if that feature request (syntax coloring for the source view) was added, otherwise this seems to be a solid app with extremely-needed and helpful debugging tools for any web developer. (-1 star for the source code text being all black, and not having an easier view that has syntax coloring...add that and I’d be a happy 5-star user!) Thanks!
  • Must have for Web App Developers

This is everything I had hoped it would be... if you develop using chrome’s inspect element and other tools you will not be disappointed. Tap to inspect element takes you right to the element you are trying to assess figure out what is happening with. It allows you to put in specific responsive sizes - which means even though this is on an ipad - you can scale it to a desktop resolution or a phone - YES! Inline style adjustments! View the console, network... this has it all. You can put your inspector on the side or the bottom - I am just thrilled with this app.. thrilled! VERY HAPPY! SO if you are a web app developer who has been wanting to develop on your ipad on the go - this is a must-have option. Using this alongside a good editor like CODA (which has ssh, web dav, multiple site management etc) and design tools like photoshop for ipad - you can do it and leave your laptop at home.

This app is a MUST HAVE on iPadOS for me. It is the only app I have found that lets me do the type of instant web design preview work on iOS that is so simple on the Mac. THANK YOU. I don’t know what the amount of time investment or financial resources are that go into keep this app updated and live on the App Store, but please never stop! Ask for money from me once a year or whatever you need to do!
  • Broken on iPad

The JS console is empty on iPad iOS 11, and no matter what I type there is no response. Works on iPhone. But even there when I tap elements tab the app freezes and I have to kill it. Maybe because my website is updating the dom every 16ms.

If you plan on doing any web development on your iPad, pick this up. Great developer tools. The ability to turn off the cache is essential and the console and inspection tools work wonderfully. Easy 5 stars.

Amazing! While it doesn't offer *every* feature of a desktop browser inspector, it offers a very substantial amount of it - enough that I can now develop more or less full time on my iOS device. For any web developer hoping to use an iPad for both coding and testing, this is an absolute must-have app.
  • Does everything except shadow-root

I’m quite happy so far while coding in Angular or React. However, if you work with web components, e.g. Angular Element, the Inspect Browser’s DOM view does not expand into the shadow root. But the browser can still detect the styles within the web component. So, it still has some use.
  • Excellent browser.

Very unstable but I still rather use it. It is must if you are using an iPad for web development. I am sure it will only get better.
