    I used this app a lot because I citadel paints exclusively, but now not at all because of the black text issue. Fix it and l will use it again.

    App hasn’t been updated in a year and needs some fixing with the dark mode. I can’t see anything on a screen unless I advance it, but not all screens can be advanced. Otherwise it’s great to have when I’m out buying paint.

    Since iOS came out with dark mode, and you use it, this app struggles. All fields are blacked out and only become readable and usable if you click where an element should be.

  • Was amazing but lack of updates is killing me

    So I used this app all the time, loved it. However sense the iOS update it is black on black text unless you advance through a screen, problem is some colors don’t have a contrast option to switch to allowing the original text to appear. No updates seem to be on the horizon. This is extremely frustrating and a huge leg down to an otherwise great app.

    This app was halfway decent for a beginner. I don’t know if it’s just my phone or what the deal is but now when I go to use the app everything is blacked out. I have zero problem with anything else I have on my phone, but I have to click on something to “advance” through a screen to come back to the previous screen in order to have the screen go to a white background so I can read the text. It’s black on black on black. I mean come on GW. You launch something and then don’t follow through with it. It would be a great tool if I were able to utilize it, but as per the norm they don’t update anything.

    Some Images and Text are Black. To see the image or text requires that you refresh the page - most commonly by toggling between contrast and traditional mode. However that doesn’t work on all screens. The latest iOS patch may have something to do with it. Until then I’m giving this a 2.

  • Not Updating App

    I really liked this app at the beginning, unfortunately GW is not keeping it updated as they release new products. With the release of 9th Ed they launched new paints but never bothered to update the app: canoptek alloy, cryptek armourshade, tesseract glow are not in the inventory section.

  • App has stopped rendering color names

    The app has stopped rendering the paints used for models. Just the color label shows up but no names. Not helpful at all.

  • Newest OS dark scheme breaks app

    App doesn't work with iOS 14 dark color scheme. All the screens are black when you go in and have to go forward one screen and then back to see it. At this point I expect nothing less from GW. If they aren't making money on something the abandon it.

    For over a month now, the text areas have been blacked out. The paint color appears, but where it should say the text of what color it is, there is blackness filling the area. If you click to a new screen and go back it corrects itself, but otherwise I can’t read what the colors are. If the issue is fixed this app would be an easy 4 stars. It also hasn’t been updated with new recipes in forever which is a major problem.
