I used this app in my fourth and fifth grade gifted classes. The students loved it!

So, the day of the eclipse, the hour before IT STOPPED WORKING!!!! Of course there was the GREAT POPUP for an in app purchase for the UPGRADED VERSION. REALLY?? What a load of .... Developer response???? A very long convoluted string of pseudo hypertext??? Meaningless to me.
  • Total Failure

The interactive eclipse map failed completely about 2 hours before totality. So, we went old school, ignored the app, and just enjoyed the event. App was great disappointment
  • Doesn't work

Waste of time. It has no info on eclipse times when you click on your location. Update 8/22: received response from developer but it's just a bunch of useless links. Please advise.
  • Failed when I needed it

Worked fine up until the day of the eclipse. About an hour before the eclipse was due to start it became unresponsive. None of the "view" buttons would do anything. Disappointing.
  • Not there when you needed it

As the sky went dark with the moon crossing the sun, this app gave me light... in the form of a blank screen. To paraphrase Maggie O'Hooligan, "Tanks fer nuttin', Danny."
  • Didn't work during eclipse time, useless

I downloaded this app to watch the eclipse with my family. I used it in the days leading up to the eclipse however when we wanted to use the app during the eclipse the site was bogged down and we were unable to use it. Overall concept was okay, interactive map wasn't great. For a free app it was okay, just didn't serve any purpose when it came down to needing it.
  • Did they not anticipate the load?

The app was working an hour ago. Now I'm getting no response. Did they not anticipate and plan for the load of everyone using this app during the eclipse???
  • Not what I would call 'feature rich'

The app would probably be great if you did two things: 1. Pay for the upgrade, or 2. Don't use it for a solar eclipse It would seem that their servers are having trouble scaling up for the user load, and as of this instance (1 hour before the eclipse), is not retrieving any data. You would think an app that would be used one in a decade would work during the only time it will be used. Oh well, guess I'll wait another 99 years to try out the app again after they fix their issues.
  • Map and times not working

The whole reason I downloaded this app was to get accurate times for the start through the end of the total eclipse. The times are not populating. My coordinates appear on the map as I allowed location permissions completely but no times, therefore this is useless to me. -Charleston, SC
