  • Good but could be better

    I’ve tried several caption apps and yours is pretty good. What I’m looking for, though, is basic captioning that doesn’t have such a fancy font that it stands out from everything else. I have considered switching apps just to be able to use a more basic font with a simple highlight instead of pink, circles, etc. I’ve already downloaded another and am irritated at the use and design of it but the end result is more inline with what I’m looking for. Hoping a new update will bring better, more inclusive fonts and highlights/ boxes to help our deaf/hoh audiences and not detract from the quality of the video overall

    I’ve been trying to find an app to caption my tiktoks. Everything else was trial based or buggy so I bought this app. It wasn’t until AFTER I bought the app that I found out I can’t caption pre-made videos. So I have to film in the app (which means I can’t use any editing effects on tiktok). I’m also not a big fan of the style of captions, I’d prefer simple ones. If I hadn’t just spent $5 on it, I’d be deleting the app. When filming in the app it does have decent speech recognition (which is why I didn’t give it only 1 star).

    It’s a massive bummer that the app only captions videos up to one minute long. It seems like its missing a lot of functionality to be more than just an occasional use thing I saw reviews from over a year ago with requests for improvements that didnt seem to have been implemented — needs longer videos, is reduced quality, and should have direct posting for other apps After manually entering captions for years: This app seems REALLY pricey for what it does

    I downloaded this app thinking it would help with my inclusion on social media. It’s horrible. It doesn’t catch half the words. I will speak slowly or use a microphone, and still it messes up. I pause for it to catch up and I still get messed up words as well as a lack of punctuation which causes run on sentences. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I don’t buy apps often and I was excited about this one based on the reviews.

    The captions are not showing up. I was speaking very clearly, I tested every font, and I had speech recognition turned on but there were no captions on my videos.

    I really like that this helps me closed caption my videos for social media. However, I really do wish I had the capability to be able to move the bubble anywhere I may need it. Different social media have different layouts that get in the way of folks being able to comfortably read the captions. If this gets fixed, this app would definitely be a game changer for social media.

    You can not upload pre recoded videos. If you want to do multiple cuts you have record edit save each part and the put them together in a separate app. Video quality is not great compared to what I know my camera can do. There are no drafts.
