  • Go-To App for Storm Updates

Here in the upper Texas Gulf Coast, this app gets a lot of use on my phone... It’s a convenient way to stay on top of something that looms large in my life, especially in late summer: hurricane development and progress.
  • Where Is The Widget Option???

I do not see a Home Screen widget available for this app. The developer responded back with the canned instructions to which, of course, were followed prior to writing my review. Restating documented instructions is not a resolution and assuming a paying customer doesn’t read instructions in the first place is poor practice. I am a developer who understands that. I will say, and perhaps the developer may want to take note, the real resolution in this case was to restart the phone. I do not know why that fixed the issue (not my app so why would I know) but it did.
  • Not totally accurate

On occasion there are storms occurring that are not posted yet like storm a month ago that appeared off Corpus Christi that showed up and local citizens talking about but not on site. Then the recent Nov Hurricane approaching Tampa that showed for a few days and just before it hit it fell off the site so I could not determine its status.
  • TEXT IS TOO SMALL

The text is too small. I have my phone set with large font, but it doesn’t help at all. Can we gain the ability to use our phone with the Settings in iPhone X? I rarely use this app because I can’t see the text. If it were not for the purpose of the app, I would just not use it and I would delete it. But I paid for it. I guess no one else is having this problem because nothing is being done. Thanks.

... not so great for average folks who want to assess data. It takes knowing how to translate Zulu, knots, probabilities, etc.
  • Had to return! Has become upfront in my arsenal of weather forecasting.

  • What happened?

This used to be a great app. It won’t even load any data on active storms. If I delete the app and reinstall it, it works for a few times then back to not updating. What is going on? I was going to buy the pro version but if the free version doesn’t work I won’t waste my money on the pro. 5 THUMBS DOWN

I expect more info from a weather app. My local forecasts put things into much better perspective in order to make the many decisions needed in threatening weather. Thank you for the opportunity to do a review.
