    I have been “trying” to meditate for years. The difference in this app is really indescribable- it works in the softest and most subtle way. I am a 911 operator and do it, periodically, throughout my shift. It has saved me and changed the entire work process. My acute long term anxiety is also significantly lower. Eternally grateful.

    I’ve been staying with my parents since Thanksgiving (a total of 5 weeks). Usually, we don’t get along when together for long periods of time. However, my daily practice with Sams guidance starts my day with the reminder that my own peace of mind is up to me.     I have tried most meditation subscriptions out there and I have to say nothing compares to this one. The way you are guided and the exercises involved really does wonders. The introductory course was one I was hesitant to do because I thought I knew the basics but as I went through the course I realized there was so much more I was missing out on! Take advantage of the one month trial and watch yourself transform!

    I am a long time fan of Sam Harris as a writer, but still resisted paying for this app. I’m so glad I did. It is a wealth of simple and easy to follow meditative help, supported by more educational resources that bring the meditative material full circle. It meets my spiritual and intellectual needs in equal parts. As I process sadness and stress and grief it is helping me take each moment as it comes, while maintaining a hope and work ethic toward my sometimes exhausting endeavors in parenthood, work and creativity.

    This app is both useful and beautiful. Concise and expansive. It teaches you how to meditate but more importantly it offers clear instruction on how to bring the quality of attention you offer in meditation to your daily life—how to pause in gratitude before you get in your car to go to work. How to make space for regrets and use them meaningfully. How to offer a little more care in the interactions you have with others.

    I am skeptical by nature and not one to exaggerate but Sam Harris has changed my life. I followed the lessons and guided instructions in this app, hoping for a breakthrough. What I found was one breakthrough after another - like layers peeling back from the most interesting onion of all time. I have logged over a thousand sessions in just over two years and the insights keep coming at me. Sam’s lessons and refined ancient wisdom bleed into my personal life in remarkable ways. I see clearer, burn brighter, and I feel mentally healthier- all by witnessing how reality already is - from the first person point of view. And I cannot wait for the next layer to reveal itself. I would not be anywhere close to this without the guidance and help in this app. I have only gratitude.

    Give us the option to speed up the lessons. Sam speaks so slow, It’s annoying to play it at normal speed.

    The fundamentals for meditation, transcendence, and psychological well-being are clearly laid out in the Waking Up app. One could benefit from spending 10 minutes in the app. I still find value returning to it over the span of several years. Incredibly helpful in understanding mediation and healthy thinking. And equally helpful in breaking through all the noise in the space of meditation exploration.
