  • Atrocious tutorial

    This game has the worst tutorial I’ve ever seen! The tutorial consisted of one single line of instruction “get rid of your cards”. After partially figuring out how to play by clicking on the question mark and the various other buttons, I still was never able to play more than a few cards from my hand. Seriously what kind of tutorial doesn’t teach you how to win? I got this as a deal of the day so I didn’t have to pay for it, but I wouldn’t play this game again even if paid to do so. Seriously this is the worst game app I’ve played in years. Don’t buy this game, it’s definitely not worth any amount of money.

  • Glitches when playing online

    If you put aside it not being very user friendly, it is a fun way to play this awesome card game when you can’t be in the same place as the other players. The problem we ran into multiple times is when a player wins and it goes to the next round it will glitch on everyone’s games except the loser from the previous round. It shows them giving their highest card, but everyone else’s screens shows you are waiting on that person. You can not move forward from this glitch. Once it happens you have to start a new game. Please fix this! It is a fun game other than that!

  • Card deals are not random

    I would give 5 stars if you’d fix the lack of randomness in shuffles and deals. It’s painfully obvious that the cards are not being dealt in a random manner. When you routinely go 4 and 5 deals in a row without the dragon or either Phoenix...and often not a single 10 either, it’s hard not to notice the ridiculousness of that! Please fix, would be a five star game if not for that huge problem.

    What did you write the program code in? BASIC ??!! Graphics are just OK. But how can it take MINUTES to compute the final scores?? Or even up to a minute to score each round. Not worth the time — literally.

    Our family has played Gang of Four for over 20 years. I was stoked when this app came out. Please fix all the glitches. Gang of Four is the best game ever and this app is the opposite of that.

  • Cheating, or bug?

    I was holding a ten. Opponent won a trick with a gang of 4 10s. THEN they proceeded to play a triple 10. That’s EIGHT TENS TOTAL. The component list says there are 2 of each of 3 colors. That’s SIX TENS. Is my math broken, or is the game?

  • Gang of Four finally comes to IOS!

    Better late than never. The interface is not the same as the online game was, which I preferred because of its ease of use and transparency. This game design works but not as easy and self explanatory as online version. Still I am happy that this game supports family sharing. It works just fine albeit some graphics are not optimized for the screen,ie being able to chat while playing would be nice without the chat screen occluding the cards. If this app was more accurately designed from the original online version, I would give it a Five star!

    Beta software, at best. I’d get a refund if I hadn’t bought it in a bundle. Asmodee: please let us test your stuff. This is really embarrassing. Seriously! I beta test other software of yours, so I know you know how to do it.

  • Very buggy

    I’m using an iPhone 11 and this game is super buggy even after this new update. The images don’t all fit correctly on the screen. If you rotate the phone a couple times to change the layout it breaks the game. I hope you fix it I like this game irl.
