A game I made For a certain kind of person To hurt them. • Climb up an enormous mountain with nothing but a hammer and a pot. • Listen as I make philosophical observations about the problem at hand. • Between 2 and ∞ hours of agonizing gameplay, depending. The median time to finish for my playtesters was 5 hours, but the mean was closer to ∞. • Lose all your progress, over and over. • Feel new types of frustration you didn't know you were capable of.

    As a player that has beaten the game 3 times this has far to many bugs and glitches and it’s clear Bennett Foddy didn’t put much effort into testing, would rate 0 stars if I could, this was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. Needs a ton of work.

    First try took me 9 hours, but with enough practice I got to 7 minutes. Over the span of 2 years, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled this game from my rage, but I can confirm that it is possible if you put enough time into it. Controls are very simple and easy to get used to.

    What’s not to love about this game. Taking great philosophical quotes and perverting their deep content with an application of saturated amounts of passive aggressiveness. I can’t say enough about the inconsistency and spactic controller response.Yet, I continue to climb and fall, and allow myself to be berated by the whole process. Go figure.🖖☯️👍🏼😎

    please don’t waste your money. this game is so hard and frustrating that it’s not even fun. the psychics are completely broken. the game is designed to make you mad and lose. it plays stupid music and quotes when you fall, annoying you even more after losing progress. not to mention, there are no checkpoints. you could almost be at the end of the entire game and just fall to the beginning.
