Description

My Movies allows you to catalog your entire collection of movie and TV Series from our world class online data service containing data for disc titles (DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD), movies (Digital Copies) and TV Series, from various counties and in various languages - whether you would like to track your disc based titles, digital copies on storage, legacy formats such as VHS, LaserDisc and others, or simply keep track of what you are watching on streaming services, you have found the right application. Attention Upgraders! Users of the first version of our application for Mac, simply log into the same user account that you previously used, and your existing collection will synchronise to the new application. If you have titles with “Offline” or “Edited” statuses, please use the “Upload all offline and edited…” function in the file menu of My Movies 1 to transfer this data to My Movies 2. Contact our support on support@mymovies.dk if you need help. If you would like to evaluate the application, you can install My Movies, which is a freely available identical version with the exception of it being limited to 50 titles. Our database of titles is the best available, containing more than 1,100,000 titles on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD, supplemented by a huge catalog of movies and TV Series for digital copies and legacy formats. Our service is community based, and if you have one or more titles that are not in our service, you can manually create and contribute the title(s). Should you find any incorrect data, our staff is always available for help. You can use My Movies Pro as a standalone product, or use it along with our mobile application softwares for iPhone, iPad and other platforms, allowing you to keep your movie collection synchronised between clients. The application requires you to create a user account, log onto an existing My Movies account, or log in through Facebook to be able to use the program. Your collection will follow your user account through our online servers, allowing you to switch between different clients without ever losing your data - we have clients available for all popular platforms. If you log in to an existing account, your current collection will automatically be synchronised to your device. You can within the program activate an online web based listing of your collection, allowing you to send friends and family a website that allows them to browse your collection. Feature list: - Add disc titles by scanning barcodes using the camera on your device, or search for disc titles, movies or tv series by titles. - Import movies or tv series from storage. - Integrates VLC player for playback of titles located on storage. - Watch trailers. - Add to different groups (owned, wished and more). - Set purchase details (price, place and more). - Personalise with location, tags, notes, rating and more. - Freely edit data, covers or posters on profiles and sync between devices. - Browse with list or cover views. - Detail view with detailed data including, synopsis, full cast list, and disc specific data including audio tracks, subtitles and much more for disc titles. - High quality front and back covers on disc titles, and posters on movies and tv series. - Search collection. - Many different sort options. - Advanced filtering. - Keep track of loans. - Online title collection to share with family and friends (http://c.mymovies.dk/demonstration). - Use same collection on multiple devices with automatic online sync. - Automatic profile update for latest and most accurate data. - Easily create and contribute missing titles to our service. - Report incorrect data to our staff. - Create PDF report of collection. - Import collection from other applications such as Delicious Library, Movie Collector, DVD Profiler and DVDPedia.

  • Good App with Limited Features

I have about 1600 titles in my collection. The features I like include the ease of entering titles with either name or UPC . The graphics are nice, and the catagories are plentiful. What I wish it had was a search option and a print option. It would be nice if I could type in an actor's name or that of a director and see a list of their titles in my collection. If someone asks me, "what Clint Eastwood films do you have ?", it would be nice to print a list. Over all, what it does it does well. I just wish it did more.
  • Not thrilled with this update

I loved MyMovies Pro. MyMovies 2 Pro, not so much. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't choose the specific version of DVD's or Blu-rays like I used to. There isn't even a space anymore to add the edition I own - I now have to put that info in the notes. Heck, I can't see if what I own is a Blu-ray or a DVD anymore in the list view - it just says "movie" now. Customization is much more limited (almost non-existent). The earlier version no longer scrolls properly under Big Sur so I had to upgrade, but I'm looking for an alternative.

These folks really care about movies, and app is high quality. It would be great it if could automatically populate the database with digital copies owned in iTunes, MoviesAnywhere, Vudu, FandangoNow.
  • Almost a 5 star, but by far the best

Really, it works almost perfectly for everything that I need. There are some small things that I would like to see updated, but honestly, they are nit-picks. This is an excellent app, with excellent, continuous support. Its everything that you would expect it to be. And I like the iOS apps even more.

My library is 1500+ titles compiled on my Mac. It is so easy to maintain and add new titles via the interface which allows scanning of the UPC. You can’t beat it. There is a large database from which to extract info detailing your movies. Those details are automatically imported after scanning the UPC. I’ve had this app for some time now. I highly recommend it.

Grettings, Now I am not doing a full review of the application. Just let it be known that if you have a Mac computer, it is the best way to caltolg your movies! I got rid of my last windows computer a few years ago. With that, DVDProfiler went away beacuse they don’t support Mac’s. I was pleasently surprised that MyMovies2 made in importer from DVD Profiler DB. It was Great!!!!! and made the trasition go off with out a hitch! Much recomended for people in the same predicment. Yes I could run a vmware app on the mac to keep windows and run profiler, but, WHY? lol
  • MyMovies 2 Pro is Absolute Best for Larger Collections

My collection, thousands of movies and hundreds of TV series, has been served well with this incredible MyMovies “documentation app". For me, there simply is no other option. This is the only app that will work for serious movie collections. The very few times that I initially needed help or instruction, Binnerup was professional and courteous (often late at night). I recently moved my collection to a new Apple laptop, and the synchronization did take awhile, but to be able to search my entire movie database via my phone or laptop instantly is well worth it. With any database experience, you can stretch your abilities to store and organize whatever data you need for your collection. For example, I was able to create a data field called “Location” using letters/numbers in coded format to identify where (in what room, drum, spindle, or storage case) each specific movie or TV series is located. I can find any movie in my collection within a couple minutes (alphabetical organization was given up years ago). Yes, the MyMovies app may have a slight learning curve to start (simple to use as you discover more and more things it can do), but once you are familiar with the various icons and purpose, it is a wonderful experience for input and query! I thank Binnerup for creating the best app that I have ever bought … and will continue to treasure.

I have 1,300 discs in my collection. This application works perfectly for me to track them, as I have them filed in Discgear boxes. Location field lets me input the box ID. Would like one other field for slot number.

I have DVDs, BluRays, UHD, 3D and digital movies. This organizes and categorizes them all in an easy-to-learn format. It's a must for a movie collector.
