    So far so good. Just started using therefore five star would be premature. However the support is spot on, the App price is excellent specially with discount being offered for $2.21 per month, this cost is in line with what I can afford. The plus feature is Surfshark leak protection. I just unsubscribed to a VPN I had been using for a couple years because of this vulnerability. Hello Surfshark and thank-you for all of the support and help thus far.

    Horrible customer service. I paid for two year service and after 3 months, I’ve had multiple issues. Every time I have issues I have to email tech support which gives me a bunch of hoops to jump through for the vpn to work which is no problem and understandable. As of late the instructions I’m receiving are to ‘turn off the Clean Web feature’.. yikes I’m limited on features in order to use this service.. ok I guess.. Then the issues continued where I couldn’t use certain things on Spotify while connected to this VPN(can’t access podcasts). Tried all 12 things tech support asked me to do and the problem still persist. When reaching out to customer support for a refund on the remainder of the two years, was told sorry your past 30 day refund policy and no you can’t pay the difference. IN SHORT: Paid for a VPN that doesn’t work correctly, hinders other services I pay for (Spotify), and customer service will not work with you to make the problem right. All in all not worth the time, money, or frustrations Edit note: Surfshark did work with me to make this right

    I heard good things about this app. When I purchased it, it just wouldn’t work. I have had to use vpns for the last 7 years, and this one is by far the worst. I had to use a free VPN to troubleshoot and manually use this VPN. Then, their solution was to give me access to another VPN service provider. These guys are a joke.

    This review is about the app, not the service. The service is phenomenal so far. The app leaves quite a bit to be desired. It isn’t as feature packed as others. Some of the “features” have an information icon explaining what they are and what they do, and some do not. There’s no option to change encryption/handshake levels. Having said all of that, I am able to leave the VPN running in the background all day. It barely drains the battery. It has little to no impact on internet speeds. I honestly don’t even realize it’s there. If they can improve the app, i think SurfShark will be a fan favorite.

    Certain apps don’t work while you are connected to the VPN with SurfShark. It is very annoying

    Sadly i bought this vpn thinking it would be ready without having to give the vpn customer service and whole paragraph of my specs also they let googles dirty hands on there vpn as a “third party info collection” they will tell you that those third party company's dont take personal info but no guards against personal info theft is up so pretty much its like having a law without police to enforce it. DO NOT BUY THIS VPN please do proper research before you buy a vpn. Take a look at who owns surfshark.

    I’ve used this device on a personal computer of mine for the last year or so and there’s no doubt it’s one of the best vpn’s out there. But once I installed it on my mobile device( apple ), my experience and excitement for this product kind of withered. I first noticed that upon using, that it blocked access to my personal and business banking apps, which was really nerve wrecking but there’s ways to figure that out right( just turn off vpn once accessing my account). But what’s making me write this review is the fact that I noticed it’s really slowing down my phone. I run a business and anything that hinders my productivity is really a liability. What I believe, because of my experience using this with other devices, is that this vpn is so top of the line, that maybe a less intense and involved vpn will be more suitable for mobile devices. I’ll continue to using this for my personal and work computers, but for the reasons listed above, will stick to the more basic vpn I’ve used the last couple of years.

    This app will use your device in ways you do not want. It will not only constantly run in the background but use your device and go through files it has no need to. You will start having connection issues and internet drops. When you get into exactly how this program runs you discover it’s more of a spyware. Yes you can connect to servers and act like you’re in another location but with all your data visible to others. Also Netflix has blocks for vpn users. You have to run around a circus each time you change a location. Unless you have the time and willingness to learn all those tricks don’t use this.
