Called acting like apple and tried to hack phone and bank account info. Do not down load

THIS is a scam! Apple needs to remove this app from the app store. They will talk endlessly convincing you that your data has been compromised. I feel so stupid for being duped. But it doesn’t help that they use Apple’s own legitimate website to perpetrate the fraud.

Do not download this! An 800 number called me saying my Apple account was being hacked overseas. Told me to press one to speak to a rep. When the rep got on the phone he told me to download this app and then check my settings. It wasn’t until he said to check my bank account to see if there were any unauthorized transactions. So I went to check on a different device because something seemed off and he was yelling at me to look at my bank account through my phone. I asked why he was yelling at me and he goes if you don’t believe me then hang up. So I did. I right away called Apple and they said they never send calls , texts , or emails like that. Luckily he checked everything and since I didn’t provide him with any info I was safe.

They called me on the phone to say my iCloud account had been breached and that I needed to download this app to fix it. Looked on the internet and this is a scam!!!

Don’t trust them hang up immediately. They want to look at your bank accounts and your cash application. It’s a fraud. I hung up on them.

I received a call from them saying my I cloud was being hacked and they were trying to fix it , they had me download this app to look at my phone with me and them had me open my bank account , he then came back to the phone and asked me do I want a job part time I said no I’m not interested he said okay and ask can he put me on hold to talk to his supervisor, then proceeded to ask me to open up my camera so they can take a picture of my face and then put me on hold again came back and said bye now , I told them I was confused he said “ I see your account was negative “ you don’t have 200 dollars to keep the hackers away from your I cloud we will try to call back when you get paid to pay for it . I told them no I’m not paying them any money and he said okay bye TOTAL SCAMMERS .

A TOTAL SCAM SAYING THEY WERE APPLE CALLING AND NEEDED TO GET INTO YOUR APPLE ID. THEN ASKED TO OPEN YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS TO MAKE SURE YOUR PASSWORDS WERENT HACKED INTO!!!! TOTAL SCAM
