Description

Change your habits, change your life! HabitMinder will help you form healthy habits and keep you accountable with useful tools like mini apps and sessions screens. For example, HabitMinder will remind you to do breathing exercises or a quick meditation session. It can also track your hydration, encourage you to exercise or go to the gym, and much more. The app has more than 50 pre-defined positive and healthy habits to get you started. Reminders will promptly notify you it is time to complete your habit. Why do you need HabitMinder? Here are some sample healthy habits the app will help you form and keep: • Walking – the most natural movement and fantastic exercise. Try to hit 10,000 steps a day with the help of HabitMinder – you’ll notice a change. • Hydration – staying hydrated is one of the best habits for your overall health. After all, water makes up 75% of your muscles, 83% of your blood, and 90% of your brain, so you can’t go wrong. Good hydration promotes healthy skin, it makes your brain stronger, and it can help you lose weight. • Breathing/Mindfulness – relieve feelings of stress and tension through breathing and mindfulness exercises. This will improve your focus and your mood as well as having a positive impact on your physical health. • Exercise – you need to exercise to stay fit, lose weight, and stay physically and mentally healthy. HabitMinder can't do the exercise for you but it will help you stay on schedule. • Stretching – stretching is an essential part of being fit and healthy. It can also help you relax so should be part of your daily routine. • Stand – it will surprise you when you learn just how much of your day you spend sitting down. Your attention will improve, you will feel more energised, and you will improve your physical health by getting into one simple habit – standing up frequently and regularly. • Squats – your partner will love this habit and so will you. Your muscles will become firmer and more toned, and you will feel stronger. Squats can even help you lose weight. • Eat healthily – everyone knows the benefits of eating healthily. Getting into a regular and committed healthy eating habit is easier said than done, however. HabitMinder is the solution – it will help keep your healthy eating plans on track. • Sleep more – sleep is crucial for your physical and mental health and wellbeing. Even 30 minutes more per night will have a positive impact. --- One time In-App Purchase available to unlock Premium Features. • Bugs...

I've used this app on iOS before, and I loved it, so I decided to try out the mac app. I still love the general design and user interface, but there are multiple bugs. Some of them are fine and I can take a few seconds to get around them, but there are two biggest ones that really get in the way of the app's performance: 1. I set multiple daily reminders for each of my tasks. Instead, I see ALL of my reminders for EVERY SINGLE TASK pop up in my notification center at the exact same, completely random time. (I definitely did not ask the app to remind me 12 times to hydrate at 8:36 a.m.?!) 2. I edited my hydrate habit and then it just disappeared. It still exists, according to settings, but it won't show up anymore in the day-to-day home screen. So it's basically useless. I've tried everything to get it back, but it just won't reappear. It's way too much of a hassle to have to delete and recreate every single one of my habits every time one of them disappears, which shouldn't even happen and has never happened in the iOS app. Hopefully the devs will spend some more effort and fix all of these bugs on the macOS app. Then I would definitely give 5 stars.

Set up reminders and it doesn't ever remind me. Example: Set up a hydration reminder. It should remind me every hour based on my settings, but it never once reminded me. It's totally pointless to have an app that I have to actively engage. The reminder is what I was looking for to help me remember and keep me on track.

I like the app. But it began crashing constantly and hasn't had an update in 6 months. If I can't use it, what good is it?

Since I started to use HabitMinder I feel so much more in control of my life. Sounds silly and exagerated but the simple fact of having a list of things to do and tick them daily is helping me not only to stick to some habits but also to create new ones. The simple concept, elegantly built, just makes me want to use the app more. There are a few bugs here and there but Im sure they will be dealt with eventually, cuz you can see the developer really cares about the app.
  • A macOS-only experience

Habits don't sync over iCloud between the macOS and iOS apps. Additionally, they are seperate purchases (for the premium versions) unlike most other Catalyst apps. Very dissapointing.

Really Love the App, easy to use. I love that i can use it on all my Apple Devices! Just one thing is missing - The option to Challenge somebody on different habits, a friend or my wife :)

You can only create three goals in Free mode. You can't really make goals that are non-daily. If you try to enter a decimal value in the Count field, the app crashes...Impressive!

I love this app as it has cool reminders and is very visual. Just one thing- I'd like to categories work and home habits. The list gets too long with both. I have to use another app which I don't like as much but will switch when this is inplemented.
  • Sync does not work reliably.

There is a disconnect between Apple wathch, IOS, and the mac app. What is crossed off on apple watch might not reflect on the mac app and what is crossed off on ios, might not reflect on the mac app. Sometimes it works, with a delay, and other times it doesnt work at all. Quiting doesnt help, nor does turning iCloud sync on and off again. And yes, they are all on the same apple id. And yes, they are all updated. Also, There needs to be a better way to track negative removal habits like not eating out. And there needs to be better Healthkit support.
  • Doesn't sync with iOS version

Love the iOS app, but the Mac version is a pretty unrefined port of the iOS app, and doesn't appear to sync with iCloud, even when logged in with the same Apple ID. Would recommend waiting before bothering with desktop version.
