Use PS Remote Play to access your PS4 or PS5 via Wi-Fi wherever you go. • Display the PS4 or PS5 screen on your mobile device. • Use the on-screen controller on your mobile device to control your PS4 or PS5. • DUALSHOCK 4 controllers can be used with mobile devices that have iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 or later installed. • Join voice chats using the mic on your mobile device. • Enter text on your PS4 or PS5 using the keyboard on your mobile device. You need the following to use this app: • A mobile device with iOS 12.1 or later installed (iPhone 7, iPad (6th generation), and iPad Pro (2nd generation) or later are recommended) • A PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 console with the latest system software version • An account for PlayStation Network • High-speed internet access (home Wi-Fi network) Using the DUALSHOCK 4 • For mobile devices with iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 installed, you can use your DUALSHOCK 4 to use the PS button, touch pad, and motion sensor. • For mobile devices with iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 installed, use the on-screen controller to use the PS button and the touch pad function.     So you’re supposed to be able to play while the PS5 is on rest mode but i haven’t been able to make that happen yet just when it’s on and then i turn off my tv. I’ve been putting it on rest mode and turning my tv off then trying to play remotely and it hasn’t worked yet. And i’m just in lockdown currently, not off on a trip. So if I can’t connect while I’m at home with my PS5, can’t imagine this works on the go.

    Since the update the app is now plagued with issues. Most notable; video lag, loss of resolution and worst of all, frequent disconnects. This is NOT attributed to internet connection speed. My PS4 is hardwired via CAT-5 and I have the fastest service my ISP offers. Prior to the update, the app had no problems at all. Now, it’s nearly unusable. I expect better from a company such as Sony.

    It would be nice to be able to still use the remote in tv streaming services, even without screen sharing it’d be fine, I mostly would just like the remote feature anyways

  • Keeps losing connection

    The app is good but every time I play after a few minutes I keep losing connection which I don’t fully understand since I have my ps4 connected to the router and I get over 200+ MB’s

  • No PS5 connection

    Works fine on PS4. Will not connect to the PS5 at all. There is no option to manually connect either like there is for PS4. App needs to be updated to fix these concerns because I’ve seen these in multiple places. Won’t give it a terrible rating because it does work on the PS4. Just fix it so it works with the PS5 the same.

    I have a great internet connection, remote play works fine on my ps4 but it doesn’t find my ps5.

    My controller inputs aren’t being recognized by the system but the controller works for mobile games like COD Mobile please fix this it’s app specific I’ve even used 3 different controllers all with no luck was just working 2 days ago

  • PS4 Romote play has awful LAG

    The LAG MAKES THIS COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE WHY DOES ANYONE EVEN NEED REMOTE PLAY YOU HAVE STUPIDLY LAZY FOR THIS

  • Great idea, TERRIBLE execution

    When I first downloaded this app, (I am a frequent PlayStation user) I thought it would be a convenient idea to play something on iPad by connecting to your console. The concept was cool and all that, but now I legitimately spend more time reconnecting to my ps4 then playing the game itself. The buttons fail half of the time, and I disconnect in the middle of, not exaggerating, EVERY SINGLE GAME at least 5 times. I do not recommend this at all for anyone who is looking for a smooth experience.

    If you put your email and password in it won’t work. The servers are unreachable and will not load. DO NOT DOWNLOAD
