Description

SIMPLE, EASY AND FAST CALORIE COUNTING Quick way to count, track and tally your calories during the day. Your ultimate calorie counter! WHY COUNT CALORIES Everyone has a personalized number of calories they should eat every day based on factors including their weight, height, activity levels, and weight loss/maintenance/gain goals. It’s hard to track calorie intake, though, not least because it’s easy to forget everything you eat during a busy day. Recording your calories as you eat gives you a clearer picture of the calories you are consuming. It also enhances your awareness of food values and nutrient levels, all of which helps you make healthier choices when eating. HOW IT WORKS Based on your weight, height and activity level, Calory will calculate a suggested daily calorie goal for you. The daily goal will also factor in if you want to maintain, lose or gain weight. After you know your daily energy requirements, your challenge is to eat the right number of calories! Calory, meanwhile, will remind you throughout the day to record your calorie intake. Importantly, there is no registration or sign up required! All the information you enter into Calory is stored on your iCloud, protecting your privacy. GREAT CALORY FEATURES • Quick Value Add - quickly add calories you have consumed - it takes seconds • Create custom Plates for regular food and meals you eat • Daily Calorie Intake Calculator which tells you how many calories you need per day • Journal View - alternative home screen layout option - see all of your data at a glance • Macro Tracking - track your macro nutrient goals (Premium) • Water Tracker - track your daily water intake needs (Premium) • Create Custom Foods (Premium) • Recipes (Premium) • Today Widget - quickly log your favorite plates • Siri Shortcuts - log your food using Siri • Apple Watch app - quick check of your calorie intake for the day to help you stay on track along with macro nutrient values • Apple Health integration - read/write dietary data to Apple Health • Keep track of your weight - read/write weight from Apple Health • Daily history snapshot where you can review your logged meals • Weekly, monthly, and yearly progress charts which give a fantastic overview while also helping you make comparisons • Custom Reminders / Notifications to keep you on track • Dark Mode! • Barcode food UPC scanning (Premium feature, US region only currently) • Multiple theme colors to choose from so you can customize Calory • Ability to change the App Icon • NO registration or sign up required! • Great App

I have used this app for only a day so I will check back in. However it calculates food and calories- has a scanner and sets times for your schedule with notifications. It also calculate protein under the food product for Keto users. I only wish they had a full total of protein option without going to the foods. The same as calculated water. Very nice app and user friendly. My guess after this month I will purchase the year as it’s reasonable!

My husband and I have been using this app to track our eating for about 4 months and we love it. We actually liked the free app enough to purchase the extras and it is well worth it. You get more food look ups, you can track your water consumption and there were some other features that unlocked with the subscription. It’s so easy to look up foods and track them, and the app even remind you periodically to track in case you forget. I tried a few other apps before this but they weren’t as intuitive or easy to use. I definitely will keep using this one!
  • Meant to be simple, but isn’t.

I have used other calorie counting apps for years. This one was difficult to navigate, and I kept adding foods to the wrong days and/or meals. It was hard to tell where I was at. And it’s buggy. In Settings, trying to change the day the week starts on does not pull up the option spinner, but I get the haptic feedback that it is spinning wherever it is hiding. Deleted foods kept reappearing. Incredibly frustrating experience all around. Visually appealing though.

This has encouraged me to eat alot better, and the app is built so well. You can even change the app icon in the app.
  • Great, with some minor issues and one feature request

I love this app. It’s the only food tracking app that allows me to prioritize sodium in addition to my macros and calories. It’s widgets are top notch as well, and I love the way the little red balls fill up the screen when you go over. A perfect visual metaphor. Minor frustration: when adding food to a given meal, if I select an item from my recent list, the item goes into the meal I last ate it with. For example, I click the plus sign on lunch to add a scoop of protein powder, and my recent food features the protein powder I had with dinner the night before. That scoop gets added to dinner despite me having clicked the add to lunch button. Feature Request: the thing that would make this app absolutely indispensable to me would be the ability to pre load and then check off items. For example, in the morning I tend to pre plan my day, constructing a meal plan that fits perfectly to my macros. I’d love a little check box or something that let me keep track of which pieces of my meal Plan I had consumed. It wouldn’t need to interact with the totals to be useful, those could be updated right away, it would just allow me to remember which snacks and such I had eaten. This is particularly useful with supplements where it can be hard to remember how many scoops of protein I’ve had in the day for example.

I’ve been using Calory for 3 months now and it’s the most simple calorie tracking app so I can add my food quickly without any hassle. I haven’t been able to long term use any other calorie tracking app. The interactive picture is motivating. A really cool feature would be if you could add the calories burned into calory directly, but being able to add them into Apple health synced is okay.
  • The best calorie counting app

I’ve tried a number of calorie tracking apps, and this is the only one that stuck. It’s not full of unnecessary features, it’s easy to use, and a pleasure to look at. Furthermore you can buy the lifetime membership and not worry about subscribing.
  • Way too many steps

update: I’m not sure how many steps it now takes but it’s still way too many. the number of separate taps and so forth to enter a food needs to be the absolute minimum. I should be able to 1) open app, 2) tap once, 3)start typing immediately 4) select food from drop-down list. To log a food I don’t have a shortcut for it takes seven steps: plus search type name of food select from drop-down change options / log cancel close This is just too many. “Cancel” and “close” after “log” especially seem redundant, and hitting “plus” should maybe take me to a search screen instead of a field for manually entering calories. I do like the new “journal” home screen. But I’d love to see more work making the flow of entering foods even faster.
  • Why?

Good app, but why is water tracking a premium feature??!! Makes zero sense to me.
