    Warning do not buy this application. I bought this app with full knowledge that I had to cancel the subscription before a year transpired, or I would be charged another $20 for another year. I tried to cancel the app subscription before the year was up and even sent them three emails but got no response. Sure enough I was charged another $20 a year. Do not buy this app unless you want a lifetime subscription at $20 a year

    This app was okay if you knew exactly what you wanted. I did not like it as it was difficult to navigate. For example, the beaches were listed in alphabetical order. So, if you want to find a beach near you, you have to look at a different map, find the name of the beach, then look it up by name to see if that is the kind of beach you want. Same with restaurants, hikes, and activities. I just did not find it user friendly. Once you find the right beach (or hike or whatever) the info is good. Even had the surf report. But it was just so hard to find. And not worth the $$.

    Tried to renew my subscription. It never updated yet I was charged. I filled out the form to report my problem. It was auto-returned as notable to be delivered and with no follow-up help. We are already dealing with trying to be on ”vacation” during COVID-19 restrictions; we don’t need further tribulations sorting out what appears to be a scam.

    A big improvement over the prior app and well worth the subscription price. The embedded beach condition reports are game-changing. Unlike free beach reports which are erratically updated, these are consistently updated with the ocean conditions, and paired with the excellent book content. I would like to see more cross-linking, such as an easy way to switch from narrative to the associated map. Maybe there’s a way to do this that I’m not seeing. It would also be nice to be able to see content listed by area like in the book, in addition to alphabetically, perhaps via a option toggle. Note that the paid subscription content requires much more space than is noted for the free download. This was an issue for me until I decided it was another reason to update my old phone.

    I purchased this app many years ago and now I no longer have the full version. All the info I had access to when I first purchased is now gone. Sure it is much more expensive now but it was initially already purchased for FULL version.

    This is my second time using a Hawai’i revealed product, the first was a book 14 years ago. I have to say, the app was amazing! Not only does it provide exceptional detail about every possible thing there is to do and see, but the maps are over the top. My ONLY regret is not getting the app ahead of time and using it to plan our vacation. Every piece of advice was spot-on, every recommendation was accurate, the descriptions of how to find things were excellent. I wish this kind of resource existed for every location I travel to. Thanks to the developer for such an awesome tool!

    1) Buggy. 2) The maps consistently failed to locate me. It was useless on hikes in Kokee. 3) hotel contact info not always up to date
