Norton Family for Parents

Norton products have been keeping us safe online for many, many years now and even as our internet time has lessened as we get older I now continue to thank Norton once again for keeping my grandchildren safe while visiting and allowing them and us to enjoy what the internet has to offer safely and securely. Norton 360 Deluxe has been a godsend in allowing myself to monitoring my grandchildren across all of our devices (5) and making sure they are safe and that gives me great peace of mind. Norton 360 Deluxe is not free like some apps but what you get is way worth it. So, my advice is if you’re wondering about using Norton... do it! You won’t regret it and by the way any questions or issues you may have their agents via live chat are awesome.

Downloaded Norton Family on my iphone. The phone put the same restrictions on my phone as it did my daughter’s. Contacted customer service. They recommended deleting the app, which I did, but it still did not alleviate the problem. Customer service asked to check if my device is shown under the child profile. It is not; just my daughter’s. They then suggested I go to Settings / General / VPN and then delete the Norton VPN. When I did that, next to VPN it read “not connected”. I figured I would try a factory reset on my iphone. Conducted factory reset. Still did not alleviate the problem. Took it to Best Buy Geek Squad. They said it is a Norton issue. Contacted customer service again. Informed that this would have to go to “level 2” and they will not be in for another 8 hours. I should contact CS then and they will be able to help. This at approximately 8 pm EST. Called around 8 am EST the next day. Was told I would be contacted by level 2 in the next 48 – 72 hours! I pushed back. Asked to be contacted today. They called in the evening. I wasn’t able to answer the phone. They left me a message they would contact me again. I called back. Said they couldn’t transfer me to level 2.

Norton has made our lives much more peaceful with regards to children and their computer time. Homeschooling our grands using the computer and internet opened the door for sneaky fun time. As much as I tried to monitor their activities, they always found a way to sneak in searches unassociated with school during school hours. Norton put tools in my hand that allows me to have complete control of their computer activities. I can block what I want-Allow what I want and when I say it’s ok to do so and am notified when they try to step outside my set boundaries. It frees up my time and gives me peace of mind about their safety. Thank you so much!!!!

DONT GET THIS APP!!! It makes you pay a ton of money a year that’s not worth it and it works horribly.

This app is way to hard to manage. This needs to be easier for the end user to use and manage.

It’s great but kids request take too long to be received

Terrible website very difficult to adjust supervision and website and app do not connect

It dont work half the tim, but when it does its decent. Blocks youtube but my daughter watches DIY projects which I did not check so I have to take the monitoring for youtube off just so she can watch the DIY project ideas. Its always saying location is off when its not. Not worth paying for but if you get the free version you will get what you paid for. Plus norton has no app for IOS.
