I never pay for apps let alone one that has is a subscription but this app is amazing and the devs truly care about it. I was already good at budgeting before this but this has made me even better. I’m obsessed with this app.
  • Needs more customization

It’s a good app, but there’s not any type of customization offered. For example, I’d like to reorder the way my accounts are displayed and the heavy use of emojis in the app is ugly to me with no way to turn it completely off.
  • Great Mobile User Interface

This app has a really nice user interface. It’s well thought out and flows nicely. I’m not an emoji person but if you like that sort of thing they are present in appropriate places. Adding accounts via plaid was straightforward, my only suggestion might be to add some kind of progress indicator while transactions are being loaded. If you have a bunch it appears to not be doing anything for quite a while (my discover card transactions took over 5 min to load initially- I had a bunch). After the initial loading it appears to be fairly efficient loading new transactions. My biggest issue is no web interface available (or other large form factor interface). That does necessarily detract from the app itself but it’s a requirement I personally have. My eyes aren’t what they used to be and phone screens are small. Plus several times per month I do complicated splits and having a keyboard and mouse makes it easier. All in all as finance apps go it’s one of my top 3.

Budgeting app that is the perfect balance of ease of use, while allowing diving into detailed transactions. They allow a surprising amount of flexibility given its good design. Normally these kind of detailed budget apps are ugly.

You guys have captured the essence of what a great personal financial app should be! It’s beautifully designed and easy to navigate. I’ve tried several other financial apps but none quite as effortless as this one... great job. Just finishing up my 1-month trial and glad to sign up for the 1-year subscription.

I am so happy that there is finally an app that builds on minted’s foundation but further exceeds it with new innovation. I love how the app automatically sets the timing of when to expect future bills and payments!!!! It make managing my budget so easy and proactive.
  • Terrible Experience; Just Like the Rest

I have been using Mint for years and it’s age is really starting to show. I’ve read nothing but glowing reviews on this app and thought I’d give it a try. I’m at the point where I’m willing to pay for an app to help me financially. But of course, my experience was nothing like what I’d read. For starters I had a lot of trouble adding my accounts. I knew I had the right login as I would test each one before signing in on the app. The app would tell me the credentials were wrong or just give me an internal error. After multiple attempts I could usually get it to log in. I was also very disappointed to find that I couldn’t add my bills like Cox, Verizon, Electric, Gas, etc... Then during setup the app was trying to load all my transactions and for some reason couldn’t load them from one bank. I waited and waited but nothing changed. I decided to close the app and reopen it, still nothing. So basically I have to remove the account or be soft locked in the setup. That’s not very helpful. Really all I want is an app where I can give it all my financial obligations and have it tell me how much I need to set aside each check and what’s due before next payday. Then it can worry about fancy budgeting and charts of my spending. My due dates are far more important.
