    Awesome app to study! Best money I’ve spent on an app in a long time. I literally was on this app every spare moment the week leading up to my exam. The missed questions section and weakest subject section really helps with subject mastery and self-efficacy!

    I have been using Fitness prep to study for my NSCA-CPT. It has been the most helpful study tool. Not only do you get to practice test taking, but for every answer it tells you why the answer is correct and why the incorrect answers are incorrect. It also gives you the chapter and page numbers to reference for further study. I highly recommend this app as you prepare for your certification. It also gives you the ability to customize what type of test you want to take, ie. missed questions, weakest subject, or study specific subject.

    This tool was so much more practical than studying the text book. I passed my test & felt so much relief after using this app the weeks leading up to the certification exam. My favorite feature was being able to do quizzes based on wrong answers as well as quizzes based on the subjects I struggled with the most. 100% worth the extra $20

    Overall, broad range of questions. However, they do not have the same level of difficulty or depth as the CSCS. So a great supplement, but don’t rely on this for preparation. Think of it as a guide.

    I passed my NASM CPT test today! I can definitely say that this app helped me pass on my first try. I am not a strong test taker, so I had a high level of anxiety and needed a way to build my confidence and to REALLY test my knowledge of the materials. The app provides 800 questions from all of the testing domains. I answered all of them and came out with a cumulative score of 76. I felt like I needed to at least score an 80 to feel confident that I would pass. I went back through the ones that I missed and made sure that I had a solid understanding. Do yourself a favor and get this app!

    This pocket app was really helpful if you’ve just went through a guided study session being new to the fitness industry. When you’ve read through all the materials the class session has provided, you’ll be able to have a better understanding of the material you need to know for the test. It was also really helpful in terms of squeezing in time to study while working full time hours. It was very helpful when I began studying two weeks prior to the exam. Obviously passing on the 1st try depends on how you prepare, but as long as you don’t wait for the day before to study, you’re more likely to pass than fail.

    This a great tool to assist in studying but there are questions in this app that do not appear in the book and a lot off the page #’s are incorrect. Spend more time in the book, practice tests on NSCA, and maybe a study webinar.

  • Paid for subscription... app won’t recognize it

    Paid for the 1 month subscription. The app acknowledges that I bought it and says that it is setting up transaction but won’t actually do it.

  • Bad customer service

    This was recommended to me by a NASM customer service agent, but turns out it didn’t have my test on there (I was told AFAA PFT and NASM CPT we’re compatible, then later told by a NASM support service team that they’re not). Now nobody will even reply when I reach out for a refund! Don’t get it because if there’s ever a customer service issue, you get screwed out of $50.
