    I really like the game their is a real tales of feel to it and I love it so much but I got to chapter 3 and now it won’t let me finish the story can I get some assistance with doing so? Every time I try to finish the story my app closes and it will not let me proceed any further in to the story quests

  • Good story, but the gameplay is meh

    The story in this game is nice. But the excessive grinds makes the game just go downhill. The fact that it’s turnbase makes it worse. I bit my tongue, since I believe in chances. But Tales of and Turn base just doesn’t make any sense. Like at all. If it wasn’t turn base maybe it’ll be more fun, but again grinding for days if not weeks, just makes this unbearable.

    I play through the stories on these games (not sure why...) but along the way some of them don’t offer much beyond a compulsive purchase mechanic. This is perhaps the most offensive of these games that I’ve played. I didn’t spend money. I suggest others don’t either. You can make it through the story without spending a dime. Then move onto something else.

    I’m still pretty new to game, but it seems very hard to improve characters. The materials are difficult to get, and it seems really hard to get rainbow stones to awaken characters and memoria stones. The gemstone packs are expensive and the 5% SSR drop rate is theoretically generous. However no pity system leaves people doing 50-100 pulls and getting 0 SSRs and thats really awful.

    Personally I don’t like games that once you use all your AP you can’t play until you get more. Plus it’s basically pay to win which I also don’t like.

  • Decent game - one big issue

    I would have given this game 4 stars for the game itself. It's a solid game, with a pretty good tales story. Where it lacks is how much you have to grind to level up your characters and how crazy expensive the gleamstones are. A ten pull is $40 (compared to $24 in genshin). The reason I ticked off another star was for technical issues. The game has a lot of crashes, although to be fair they are working on them. However, my biggest issue is that the iPhone 12's have been out for almost a month and they haven't updated the resolution for the new phones, so the text is very blurry.

    In an age where mobile games are so competitive and constantly vying for attention, I feel this game really shines in story, but has a lot to work in the actual gameplay. For one, the arena is extremely unreliable. As a player that is only rank 5, I am getting matched against players that are level 60+ and getting utterly destroyed. I am not sure why this is even possible as it does help players want to play. As with any gacha game there is also a lot of farming, but it lacks the ability to quick play which is a pity since there are so many things to do and farm. Overall, I think it’s good to pass some time but not enough to become my main p2p. But if you’re looking for a casual good story to kill some time, it’s worth it.

    If your a fan of the series then you will love this game! Fun gameplay and beautiful graphics. I highly recommend grabbing either Velvet or Leon for you Free SSR pick at the beginning. Trust me you will thank me later!

  • The leads are a trip

    I’m a fan of the tales series and the mobile games get included in that. Crestoria can be a bit overwhelming when you see everything on screen at first, but the game breaks everything down for you in time so you don’t get overloaded. It’s always exciting to see event units and seeing how different characters will fit on your teams as there are many things to consider for team composition that. An make or break harder content battles. Crestoria is easy to pick up and play for any amount of time too. I’m really enjoying the story mode and the leads are pretty funny without trying hard due to how they play off each other in chats. Definitely worth a play! Also y’all give a girl a Regal Bryant unit. Like, y’all got everything else I could as for but him.
