  • The single best app for touring Gettysburg!

There are great YouTube videos and guides, but if you want a first class, helpfully paced, highly accurate and engaging tour, use this app! You can vary the pace. The descriptions are perfect. Specially for the first or second time tourist, with maybe only a day, GET THIS GUIDE. You can stay in the car or walk for miles. The narrator is a genuine historian. It takes many visits fully to grasp the Gettysburg Story, and THIS book is where to start. I have 50 books on the campaign and thinks the one that I carry.(I am a tourist with no financial ties or conflicts of interest. Never met these guys.) Cheers - Tex

The app just hangs up on launch trying to establish a connection for ever so you cannot download any of the content or use the app. Turned out to be a complete waste of money that were unable to download any content because it was not establish a connection while we were at the park

This was part of the Gettysburg book store purchase. Both my wife and I tried to use the code to get full access but it never loaded correctly for either of us. Very disappointed.

We bought the book w/CDs and a code to redeem the app. Once we downloaded the app, we got a message "Updating Content", and it's been stuck on that since. Nothing we do fixes the problem.

We bought a book that came w/ a free app that tells The Gettysburg Story: Battlefield Auto Tour since we had 2 cars taking the tour. However, we downloaded the app, entered the code and the app opens and says “Updating Content (One moment...)”. We waited a full 24 hrs. Connected to WiFi and still wouldn’t download. We restarted our phones; still did same thing... I uninstalled the app; re-downloaded it, still nothing. I will change the rating if we can get the app to download.

Great tour experience for our family during this socially distanced summer. Spent several hours driving on the battlefield with this easy to use app. Listen to the story of the battle and get gps directions to each tour stop in this amazing National Park. Before you go see the companion film to make the experience even more awesome and informative.

An amazing experience listening to the Battle of Gettysburg through the eyes of Professor Gabor Boritt (a great historian) and his son Jake Boritt. Professor Boritt’s thirty year expertise with the Battle of Gettysburg makes this audio tour truly remarkable.

This is the definitive auto tour guide to anyone visiting Gettysburg Battlefield. I first tried out the tour app (which is no longer available) in 2017 and was blown away by the in-depth narrative and visuals. Narrated by Stephen Lang, the actor who played Major General George E. Pickett in the movie Gettysburg (1993), he lends a high production value and flair. This is an absolute “must” guide if you want a guide to the Battle of Gettysburg.

We did the full length (3 hour) tour and it was very in depth, descriptive, and helpful in illustrating those three days and the people who fought here. Having the printed guide was a nice accompaniment to visualize line movements and put faces to names.
