    I have tried several apps for wind speed and direction but this is the easiest one to use and read. I often go kayak fishing in W Galveston bay and I always check this app before leaving the house. The hourly forecast is so nice and easy to read.

    Opens with a map of the US. You need to zoom in on the area you want wind speed for, then click “show nearby stations”, which does nothing! Just experimenting with it, then tells me I need a PRO subscription. Subscription for a tool (wind speed) most every all-in-one (some free) weather app gives us by default? Forget it! Absolutely the worst UI just to get wind speed in my area that I’ve ever seen!

    I originally got this for the wind forecasts and current wind gusts. When they offered to update to include all the information it gives, I purchased the upgrade. Now, this is my go to for all weather information, one of the best out there for what it does.
