    The language may be hard (Japanese), but the app is simple and fun to use. I really like how it can record my voice and tell me how well I am pronouncing the words.

  • Completely broken

    I've been emailing back and forth with their useless customer support for two weeks now over the broken software (lessons not being available to click on, saying I've completed a lesson when I haven't and not letting me access it, etc.). So far, they've offered me a handful of work-around solutions that don't actually work. I've tried it on both my and my wife's computers, and it's the same issue on both.

    This app worked well for the first week of beginner Spanish. I have the $54 per quarter plan, but am I unable to contine the lessons. When I select a lesson the opening screen says it is complete, despite me not having accessed it. I am at a complete standstill, very frustrating. Can anyone advise on how to apply for a refund?

    I have to say that i really struggle with new languages. However, I am really enjoy the method in which everything is taught, it caters to many different type of learning styles including mine. The only thing i have been struggling with, software wise, is the "test" at the end of the first milestone. I think more responses should be acceptable, but i understand why it needs to be ridged. I really wish i used this program when i was in school, it would have made learning a language so much easier.

    First let me say that I have spent $600 in the past on what should have been forever purchases. I bought RS Italian Level 1, RS Italian Levels 1-5 and RS Spanish. I now need to spent an additional $200 for each language to actually use them. Not good. Next, the system doesn't seem to actually work with you in several respects, the most annoying of which is automatically switching to a new screen no matter how you adjust the settings. I like to see the written word for a moment or two, not have the words zipped away to get on to the next set of words. Other than the $600 (with an added $400 if I wish to "repurchase" my existing products) and the occasional malfunction, the methodology makes tons of sense. I really do want to love this system and would probably be a lot more content without the wasted expenditure.
