  • Have potential but not quiet there yet

    The app is good it actually shows the tabs and all that you need but it does not let you drag through the entire tab using the features of the trackpad you have to actually drag it with the cursor, and for some reason it heats up my computer like crazy. But the set up is nice, just the functionality is not there

  • Great Web Site, Poor App

    I had high hopes when I saw they had and app. I sprung for the pro membership because they have such a great library and the web site is stellar, allowing you to save favorites, create folders, and keep songs organized the way you want. The app does not recognize anything that i created on the web, and the functionality seems very limited. They should basically copy the web functionality into the app. Maybe they will invest in it and make it useful someday.

    app forces you to login each time you open it. Just use the website.

    I really want to like this app, but the lack of support makes it very challenging. You have to sign into the app every time you close it....like seriously? Save yourself the harddrive space, and just use the website. I'd be hesitate about a premium subscription at this point.

    The website is much better. It isn't perfect (the autoscroll needs to scroll the entire sheet before it hits the end IMO), but it is still better than this trash app. And yes, you constantly need to sign in. Don't believe me (or any of the other reviews)? Check out and use the website. Then download the app and use that. Then come back to the App store, leave a terrible review, and finally delete the app.

    I love the iphone version of this app but the mac OS version is almost unusable. Maybe with a rework i would redownload.

    I have never written an app review but having to sign in everytime you open the app is so ridiculous it boggles the mind.

    Like mentioned by other reviews, signing in every time (no iCloud Keychain support, apparently) alone is enought to be a deal-breaker. You also can't scroll up and down the page unless the player is going. Extremely annoying, frustrating, inconvenient, and unusable. I hope the bugs get worked out soon, I would assume that the stand-alone would easilly best the website so this is a big disappointment.

    I love using thier website but the few issues that I have with the app are big enough to not want to use it. As others have said you have to sign in everytime you close the app. However, the deal breaker for me is there will be certain tabs (random) that just won't load. I'll sit for 5 minutes and see if it's just being slow but no, they never load. That is why I will probably delete the app and just use the website. Really losing out considering now I will just google what chords I'm looking for and use the top website instead of only using Ultimate Guitar.

    I can't believe they don't fix what has to be a simple fix. I thought there's no way you have to sign in every time like another reviewer said. He's abosolutely right. I love UG but they're dropping the ball here.
