  • Decent app not great prep

I’ve used this app for the entire period during EMT school and as a tool to study for the NREMT. This is a great study tool to refresh your knowledge. However, to prepare for the NREMT it’s not the greatest. The way these questions are structured is nothing like the questions on the NREMT. If you want a minor study tool to refresh your knowledge this is great but don’t expect it to be a good comparison/prep of what you’re going to see on the NREMT.
  • Do not use for NREMT-B

This app does not prepare you for the NREMT. The questions asked here are nowhere close to what is asked on the actual exam. I went through all 800 questions in the app multiple times and I did not encounter any of them on the exam nor were there any similar questions. Do not waste your money on this app, read your book and memorize.

Passed NREMT on the first try. I’ve seen people saying the questions are different from the real test - yes it is different, but you should still use this app to practice, it helps. NREMT is deeper than the state one (at least comparing to the NYS one), meaning you need to know the meaning of each terms and figure out which one is the best choice, in other words, you still need to read the book carefully, but you should be just fine once you done that and practice with the app.

This helped prepare me for the format of the NREMT. When going through this read the reasons why the answers are correct the material helps you think like the NREMT wants you to. Plus the explanations help you memorize other things that will help on the test. I passed the first time using this to study as well as reading my book. Recommend to help get you ready.

These are good tough questions that make you think. I am retaking registry after being out of the field for 8 years. Paramedic school was 20 years ago for me and this is helping get my brain back in the critical thinking arena again. I’m glad to have a resource like this to take a quick test. I make note cards of the missed questions from the explanations to learn from my mistakes.

Great app, used the last 2 months before my test and performed pretty good! I passed the NREMT my first time. Utilizing the “missed questions” quiz was probably the best asset for me. I studied by just doing quick 10 questions whenever I got the chance. It worked out good!

I’ve been a firefighter EMT for 6 years and recently finished paramedic school, this app was super helpful . I passed NREMT for paramedic first try and only used this app 3 days out from the exam 😬😬😬 I took all 600 questions in 100 block increments . And after each 100 block I would research the questions I got wrong and write down the correct material on a notebook . I also re did all the questions I got wrong . Other then that my overall average on this app was 73% and I passed NREMT paramedic 1st try with getting cut off at 94 questions ! Hope this helps! Great app. Will recommend to everyone

I upgraded to the premium version just a week before my EMT test. I took a bunch of little 20 question quizzes as well as the weakest subject quizzes. I absolutely did not think I would pass the test with just 1 week of studying but lo and behold, I did it!! Thank you Pocket Prep!
