Description

Ready to transform your Smule singing performances into full productions? With Style Studio, you can unlock your creative potential with one-of-a-kind audio and video Styles to use in Smule. Show off your creativity and set your performances apart. Style Studio is the companion app to Smule, the social karaoke singing app. In Style Studio, you can create Styles that work as templates, made up of fun audio and visual effects that enhance any Smule recording. Music and singing is at the center of Styles and so you’ll notice that songs are pre-segmented—chorus, bridge, verse, etc, and you apply effects to those segments to create your Style. When you create a Style, you’re building your own unique look and sound that can be applied to any song while you record in Smule. If your audience loves the Styles you’ve added, they can use them for their own karaoke performances, too! Create your Style based on your own preferences and publish to use it on your next Smule recording. Want to change something or try again? Continue to make new Styles as often as you want and publish them to be seen and shared with the global singing community! Each time your Style is shared, your creative vision is brought to life and inspires others to connect with you and your performance. FEATURES Add unique effects to each song segment: intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge, and outro or apply one effect to multiple segments—you’re the producer! Change the tone of songs instantly with audio options like grunge, super pop, indie, opera, and more! Use layouts and transitions to highlight epic moments in your performance. Blur, blend, and add contrast with different lens choices. Create bursts of energy through fireworks, streaks of light, and flashing neon symbols. Transform the look and sound of any recording in Smule by creating with Styles, that work as templates of fun audio and visual effects that enhance any Smule recording. Download the free Style Studio app now to create your first Style and share your creativity with the world! Not sure what Styles will look like? Download the Smule app and watch a few performances to see what it’s all about. You can sing to your favorite hits and meet friends through the power of music and creativity. Jump into the Style Studio and customize the vibe you want for a couple or all of your performances. You’ll have a pre-loaded performance to play with or can use one of your own Smule performances to help you find what works for you. Once you’ve created a Style, you can use it in Smule while you record your solo, duet, or group performance with added, epic effects. Download the Style Studio to create your first Style and use Smule to see it in action on your performances.

  • New Smule app! Rates a negative 10

You need to fix this app where when we join someone on a song I can use my own settings not the ones they choose to use. There is no way to use my settings when I join someone. When a join begins we should be able to change the settings to our own settings. This is the worst change I’ve ever had to deal with since joining Smule. I’m sure no one will address this or even read this so I’m probably wasting my time but at least I tried. Lisa Fair BSN, RN,BC,MSN

    How to use very well?
  • Makes no sense

These feature should be all within one app to simply things. You only allow one style to be saved at a time. The sections you have are not clear as to what it is k changing or want to change. I would like a black background and light. I don’t see this where I can edit it that way or maybe I’m clueless. But if it’s there a way to do it make it approachable and user friendly to do so. And reconsider adding this in one app in Smule especially for VIP members. Just a thought

It used to be worrisome due to privacy issues but now it’s been addressed. Great improvements have made my experience with Smule Styles enjoyable. I love being creative with it. Anticipating further enhancements. More power to Smule! 🙏🏼
  • It’s GREAT! 😊Anyone😊 can learn it!

💎To make your own new FX tap the squares at the lower right, you can use your own past performances to build FX instead of the preloaded one. 💎No one can change your recording and save it, it just shows up as a template if you used someone’s style previously and your collab is public. My children’s private collabs do NOT show up in the new app. 👎It does crash, but it’s new. No one spanks a baby for falling when they are learning to walk. I KNOW it’s going to get better! 👎Group joins seem to make every joiner’s screen skinnier and skinnier until you can’t even see their face. I REALLY miss the Classic Group Tiles and how they moved around, highlighting different singers as larger square tiles at different times. 👎It does take a few minutes to learn and if you just want to sing, it can be frustrating not knowing how a new style’s FX is going to turn out throughout a whole song. Smule should make the old classic buttons available to people who just want to sing(!!!) and not necessarily _produce_a_video!_ After all SINGING is what brought us here in the first place, it wasn’t originally a video app! I think Smule creators forgot that not all singers and musicians are video makers. Maybe... open two Smule apps? One called Classic Smule and one called Smule Styles? Because anyone can learn to use this, but does EVERYONE _w_a_n_t_ to? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Keep up the awesome work, app developers! Just please make it easy for the ones that just want to sing!🎤🎤🎤😘
  • Disappointed and frustrated

This is piece of crap. I used to love the app with al the features before the update. It’s not convenient, it’s not valuable. There is no value I find from this. I’m disappointed with the app update ._. I won’t be able to enjoy it as much as before when I could use different effects. I paid for years for the VIP because I enjoyed it. I don’t even know why I should be paying for it now that it’s not as good as before. Honestly I felt the frustration with some of the other reviews. I related it and so are others. What was the point of having a separate app??
  • Keeps Crashing :(

Hello!! I have tried to make a Smule style so many times, and every time I’m half way done, the app crashes!! It’s time consuming!! The idea behind the Smule styles is cool. The app just needs some work... -Ally (@ally_marleyrose_)
  • Unnecessary and ruined the SMULE APP

The thing is this, what was once a working app, has now become absolute horse poop, the need for this app is completely redundant, what they need to do is get rid of this godamn side app, put things back to the way it was, get some frigging rights to fan favorites (because they don’t have the actual rights to songs apparently, and a lot of my personal favorites are gone including songs I already sang with someone) so instead of focusing on VIDEO, which isn’t the point to karaoke or Voice Acting, and make things right. Bottom line. If you decide to waste your time and download this I wish the best to you. But until they fix the issues here present, I’d steer away from this.
  • Love it but ...

I absolutely love the new style addition to Smule but It still needs tweaking. My styles are disappearing, and the last one I created did not have an effect I inserted after it was published.

App constantly freezes. Also, they take your videos from smule as templates. They use raw video without your consent. One of the worst apps. Don’t waste your time. I have been waiting weeks for Smule to provide an update. Nothing. It gets zero stars
