  • Incorrect Macros

I’ve been eating chicken broccoli and rice most every day while on a cut and my fats have been way too high. The app incorrectly states that chicken breast is 52% fat when google says that there are just 3.2 grams of fat per 100 grams of chicken breast.

I wish I could start using this app when I first installed 2 years ago. This app is the best, I've lost weight, and my sister also. I reccomend to all my friends, family. Calories intakes, water intakes, daily steps. wow! I've lost 10 pounds for less than 2 weeks!! Meal plans are great, the portion size is normal. Love it!!

Why did you take this away? This latest release it seems you took a step back.
  • Nice app but needs some improvements.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and parts of the UI are getting cut off in the corners. Also, the keyboard gets in the way when trying to enter a value for potassium in a custom food. I would also like to be able to edit the name of scanned foods because the names are either incorrect or excessively long; e.g., scanned name: “Breakfast nutriflakes cereal 40% bran flakes”, actual/shorter name: “NutriFlakes Cereal”. Being able to edit the brand would also be nice, just in case. Another feature I would like are more micronutrients to track, not just potassium.
  • Pretty good

I like the tracking system for food. Simple and easy to use. However I can’t change any of my notifications for when I need to log my food! Every change I make, I leave the app, come back, and they have all reverted to defaults. They also keep asking for background permissions to present notifications which doesn’t make sense to me. I still get the notifications at the default times even without background permissions.
  • Units of Measurement

I love almost everything about this app. My only issue is that although it lets you record your weight/height in whichever unit you prefer, it only displays weight in kg. I am used to lbs and it can be a bit confusing. It would be nice to be able to personalize that.

    The app just stopped working.
  • Extremely unreliable food database

The app is visually appealing and user friendly. But the food database is extremely is unreliable. Almost always, the database is different that what the label says on common packaged food. Many, many times the nutrition facts are correct, but the serving size is wrong. For example, the label on Organic Valley Cottage Cheese (4%) says 1/2 cup = 110 calories. But the Life Sum database says 1 cup = 110 calories. And, to make matters worse, there is an icon that says “Verified”. Clearly they are not verifying anything. Unless you are willing to manually enter your own nutrition facts for everything you eat, this app is pretty much unusable.

I’ve redownloaded twice, and I can’t do anything. The screen is stuck on the Lifesum logo pre-sign-in. Please help!
