    The UI used to be not the best, but this one is atrocious. The playlists feature is gone and one third of the bottom bar is useless premium trash. Now it’s much more difficult to queue up pods, change the speed and separate the unlistened to and partially listened pods Please change it back to be better. I’ve been listening since before you could download episodes and I’d hate to leave but this is deeply frustrating. Also I’d love to be able to see how many hours I’ve listened to in total.

    The update did nothing to improve what was already a lousy app. There are far better options available to stream podcasts. Podcasters that sign exclusive distribution with Stitcher will lose me as listener.

  • What the heck happened?

    I got the latest update and it no longer makes any sense to me. I was hoping that I would get used to it after a bit, but it is still not intuitive after a few weeks of daily use. The visuals are so cluttered and I have no idea why they had to over engineer it. Perhaps it has given me more features, but it beats me how to even do what I could do a few weeks ago. I am now looking for other apps after listening to Stitcher for years and years. I know that we as humans don't like change, but podcasts are something that I do with my free time, I should not have to fight with an app to make that happen.

    I use this app a lot and really like it, but the latest version seems like a step backwards. For some reason a bunch of podcasts on my playlist disappeared in the update and the user interface was not as intuitive as the older version. Still a decent app, but could be better.

    So they updated with an overhaul of the app interface. Not a huge fan of it since it did t really help any of the problems before. I miss the old look and I wasn’t even a fan of it.

    At first I was just annoyed because it was different, then because I couldn’t find my playlists, but by far the most obnoxious thing is that “premium” versions of podcasts now come up in my regular feed and I have to seek out the free versions. If I could give zero stars, I would. Moving to google podcasts. -a user with thousands of listening hours on your platform.

  • Paying for an app that’s hard to use

    I am paying for an app to get premium content and it’s disappointing how I can no longer make play lists and it’s difficult to use the app. I have eyesight issues and it’s not expanding sizes like other app settings.

    So frustrating! Used to love this app. No longer intuitive at all! For example, when I start a show from the new episodes list, the description is there with a play button, but once you tap play, there is no bar on the page to go forward or backwards in the program. Seriously?

    It wasn’t p e r f e c t before this latest update but it was sure a whole lot easier and more simple to use. Also, and it’s not my wifi, it Always lags. So frustrating

    I have been a stitcher user for years, but I can no longer support this app. They removed all of the functions that made me choose the app in the first place.
