    I have over 140 favorite songs I can’t enjoy listening to, Dezzer keeps recommending songs that are so far of the style of music I like, for example, I don’t have a single rap/hip hop song in my favorites but Deezer keeps pushing it on me, I don’t get it, is it the algorithm or Deezer is promoting the songs, anyway, it’s good when it works.

    This review is based on hours of listening to deezer and Apple Music though AirPod pros and the iPhone 12 Pro. Apple Music gives you a wide range of options and higher quality than mp3 But Deezers playback quality has impeccable crisp top end that really adds to the dimensions mixing engineers intended to portray and mastering engineers respect. Literally the playback that will make you truly appreciate you bought expensive headphones. For the non ear trained: Mp3 is like a moped, Deezer is like the Tesla of music. While there’s still people who prefer records and cd’s, in the digital world deezer meets that demand. I’m confident enough as a sound engineer to tune a high end PA using deezer and my iPhone. Deezer needs to improve these two features to be unstoppable. - improving the user interface. When I search for a world re-known artist, I still get a lot of results that are not what I want. If I want a band, I’ll get all the tracks and not albums. If I search for albums, I got all the bands that covered the song I’m particularly interested. - There’s a lot of music that are standards and yet can’t be found in deezer. Which forces me to Apple Music. I’m sure there’s a cost to doing business but features like this are ones you can’t skimp out on. Overall, I will not be canceling my account because of how invaluable portable high quality audio is to me. But, if there is a competitor with a better UI and a complete listing of all the standard albums I want to here, I will switch. I will absolutely go out of my way to update this post as Deezer corrects these issues.

    I am simply comfortable with Deezer. It presents good discovery choices without being too focused on the current fad artists. The sound with a hifi subscription is better than the competition. I also like its well rounded approach to all music genres.

    Playlist tends to not load, but if you click the search icon within your playlist it’ll find show all your songs. Ill update my review once this is fixed.

    Is there anyway I can check the vocal credits?? I can’t find credits anywhere online and I was hoping they would be here but it’s only the composer and writer. Pls help

    I really like the Flow feature and the sound quality is top notch. The flow feature is why I will most likely be leaving Spotify. Spotify plays the same music without a good shuffle. So far so good will most likely be switching to Deezer soon.

  • One Huge Design Flaw

    Since the demise of Google Play Music, we’ve been shopping around for a good music player app. Deezer has come highly recommended, but there’s one design flaw that I just can’t get around. I am home full time and like to stream my music to my TV or other player. When it finishes playing my selected album, it starts playing other, random music from the same or similar artists. Even if I set the album to repeat, it STILL plays other music and albums. I want it to stop playing all together over choosing music for me. If I want a radio station inspired by a specific artist, I’ll use Pandora. Because I am currently using a variety of players right now, I’ve also noticed Deezer is less intuitive than other platforms at finding music based on my search credentials. For example, if I want to listen to Christmas music from a certain artist, it will only bring up albums that specifically have “Christmas” in the album title, not all of their holiday music. Just today I wanted to listen to an album called “Christmastime” by Michael W Smith. I typed “Michael W Smith Christmas” in the search field and it wouldn’t bring up the album 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had to go through his albums to find it.

    I love the app on iPhone iPad but unfortunately it’s not available on Apple TV yet I don’t know why but the developer needs to add it ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I love the app and I just recently subscribed to the family plan meaning my whole family also loves the app, and I’m a huge kdrama fan meaning that I’m a bit disappointed to see that most of the osts are not there. I hope they’ll be there in the future😊 other than that I’m loving the app keep up the great work.

  • Download is broken after the last update

    After the last update or so my downloaded tracks are getting deleted regularly (automatically). I tried to clean all the cache and remove all the downloaded tracks and re-download them again! But didn’t fix the problem.
