    I don’t mean to be dramatic, but this app has changed my life! I know exactly what I’m putting into my body thanks to this very detail-oriented app. Before I eat or drink something, I log it to check the nutritional value and let me say, this app has kept me many of days from eating junk! 100/10 would recommend you to download.

  • Horrible Fraudulent Charges

    I usually don’t write reviews, but this is the third year that they’ve auto-charged me their premium amount. I’ve called them, emailed them, and contacted Apple to have them reverse this charge EVERY YEAR for three years. (I tried the trial and cancelled within the refund period). Somehow they have my card number on their auto-ACH and refuse to take it off. I’ll report them to the BBB as well after writing this. The only way I’ve gotten this charge reversed is through Apple, because they refuse to answer my emails. When I call, they have a very unprofessional sounding voice recording that sounds like it was recorded in someone’s basement. Haven’t reached them by phone since my initial call 3 years ago. If you want customer support — might as well forget about it. Horrible.

    This is a great app. I’ve used it on and off for about 5 years. The past two weeks I’ve noticed a significant bug that makes it incredibly difficult for me to accurately track my calories. My watch is connected to the app so my workouts automatically connect, which is great. I don’t like having the calorie burn bonus because I’ve found going into my previous days that it’s often less than is projected. I tried getting rid of the bonus via the watch, but it stubbornly continued to appear. I then resigned myself to deleting it each day, but no matter how many times I delete it, it returns. It even returns for previous days when I’ve completed logging and deleted it. It’s throwing off all of my projections, and I don’t understand why the message is “it will delete for this day, but not future days” if it’ll just reappear once I’m done logging. It’s incredibly frustrating and makes me discouraged to use the app because every time I open it I get frustrated. I don’t think many people see this bug because once a day is logged we tend not to go back to it. Really hope it’s fixed in the future because I’ve ended up having to completely disconnect from my watch because I don’t want to be lied to about the calories I have.

    Started with this app years ago, and it was decent. Bought the lifetime membership on a good deal, and have enjoyed using it ever since. It sends motivational notices throughout the day, reminds you to use it, and keeps you updated with nutritional facts. Over the years they’ve added Apple Watch compatibility, increased flexibility for other apps/devices, and they keep making it better. Very, very similar to another weight loss program, that goes by ‘WW’, but without the huge monthly fee. Just by watching your portions, you will likely be able to lose lots of weight! Just get it!
  • Sharing recipes with android users is broken

    The November update caused most of the functionality of the Android version of this app to break. Among these is recipe sharing. I do most of the meal planing in my family and share recipes for what I have cooked. Android users are consistently unable to load these recipes or they have the wrong calorie information. This is very disappointing as everything was working so well before November. I wish they would give at least some amount of attention to making both versions of this app functional.

    I purchased this App and “a very popular other” app. I kept this one. “The Other” is a good App. This one is much better for me. Very simple and clean cut. Very easy to complete each day and the variety of foods/brands available is quite impressive. The other App is great if you need a lot of encouragement. This App let me work and my embrace my own discipline. Tons of knowledge when I’m ready! Thank you!

    What I don’t get about this is that it says that it is 4+. BUT when you sighn in it says you must be over 18 that just doesnt add up to me! Though overall its a great app to use when trying to loose weight!

    It took me an hour to be able to log in. It required uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times before I got in. I will update if my evaluation of the app changes.
  • Slow and non functional

    This is my favorite tracking app but now the food search feature is non functional, it doesn’t sync between iPhone and iPad, it’s painfully slow to add anything in a meal even if you are the same meal the day before. It’s a shame because it used to be better than map my fitness.
