  • Mobile App functionally is awful

    I don’t understand how the functionality for the mobile app could be so poorly designed and limited. The fact that Match will not differentiate between premium and non-paying users is a rip off because premium membership is required for users to read messages. Worse still, it took hours of trial and error, deleting the app and navigating thru my browser to see my sent messages - many of which are just sitting there (I guess time will tell if recipients are paid users, not interested, not checking, or whatever. Also, I did everything in my power to stop receiving push notifications by email and I am STILL getting them. Apparently not possible to turn off. It’s been about 12 hours and I want to cancel for a refund. I can’t move to a desktop to get the full use of this site- and shouldn’t have to premium prices. Maybe there’s a match somewhere on this site, but reaching them thru this app is in the too hard category.

    I set up age ranges and distance ranges but still have profiles popping up that are not in either. That’s kind of annoying.

    I already wrote a review but, I figured I’d do it again to hopefully get the point across that this is a rip off. I’ve had this for almost a month (payed and even boosted myself once) and I’ve only had like 5 people view me?!?! Obviously this is so you’ll keep paying the subscription and pay to boost yourself so this scam of an app gets more money (atleast that’s what I’d assume by this point). Also (and this is too big a deal) but, you put in your religion and interests yet people who will only match lets say, 2 of like 7 things about yourself will pop up as an option. Now granted that can technically be a positive (kinda depends) because sometimes someone a little unexpected could be the one for you. So again that’s not too big a deal, it more depends if something like that bothers you. Overall-Horrible

    What happened to the subscriber notification? I keep us from wasting time emailing non subs. Also could you please bring back the interested in section. It also saves time knowing what the other person is looking for. Thanks!

  • The apps is keeps changing and is not helping at all

    I been a member for 3 years on and off, and this time the last renew is the worst they had to get my standard deduction for 44 in one month and then finally paid it but worthless. I can’t even sign in and calling customer care hasn’t answer, also emailing the site hasn’t respond. So what became difficult in this apps lots of cookies, bugs, apps now is very different.

    This was a complete waste. Match would recommend people not even in my preference settings. Not the religion, mileage, etc. Then they want you to pay to boost my profile. Why should I boost am I paying for my profile available for other to see. It’s all a scam to get you to pay for more with the same results.

    This is the worst app ever. Everyone is super ugly. I spent $60 only to have a horrible experience and not match with a single person. Ive had it for like a week now and I wish i could get refunded.

    Seems to be a lack of real people here most of the profiles are ancient lack of interaction between individuals - really questions as to why people even make a profile on a site that they have no intentions of communicating strangest thing I’ve ever seen. Or programs like this just keep profiles actively in active to make their numbers look higher there’s a 50-50 on that
