  • Randomly deletes some of the recordings- how to fix?

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning and check the journal, it says the ‘snore’ recordings for that night have either been automatically or manually deleted, even though I have it set to keep recordings ‘forever’. This is stopping me from gaining insights into sleep talking episodes, and greatly diminishes the app’s value for me. There was no clear way to get support on this issue either via the App Store or the app’s website. I didn’t want to post a negative review- just want the problem fixed. Could someone from support please help me? BTW I’m using the app on an iPad.

I am loving the sleep cycle. I suffer from insomnia so it helps me know when I get the best sleep!
  • Strange bug keeps alarm from sounding

I have had this app for a few years, and loved it, but in the last few months the alarm never goes off. I wake up after the end of my planned wake up period and see notifications that the alarm has been snoozed. I’m not sure what is going wrong.

I tried this app- but i sleep with a fan on in the room and it kept picking the sound up as “snoring”. The app didn’t work for me because of this...

I previously paid for the app when it was on sale for a flat fee and I’ve been using the premium version ever since. until now it won’t even let me restore my original purchase and let me use the premium version of the app
  • Snore Estimate Never Changes

For weeks and weeks, Sleep Cycle said the leaf blower, lawn mower, edger, weed whacker, etc outside my window was snoring. After telling the app it was Other dozens of times, it finally stopped. But, a few nights ago, my cat decided to sleep on the bed with me. She purred for 1 hr 43 min, and Sleep Cycle recorded that all as snoring. Even after deleting the sound, Sleep Cycle still says I snored for that long. Why doesn’t the time spent snoring get updated? Also, for me, sound is not a very good measure of whether I’m asleep or not. I have a rare nerve disease which hurts less if I don't move. So I lay very still for a looonnnggg time before I fall asleep. I hear my clock chime every 15 minutes, so I know I didn’t fall asleep in 8 minutes, but I can’t change it.
  • Trying this app again - still has issues

I've tried this app once before (premium) and cancelled it because I felt that the tracking wasn't as accurate as I wanted. I am trying it again now because my sleep is not great and I hoped I could try tracking again for some insight. Right from the start, however, it failed to indicate that I had gotten out of bed. When i looked back it showed that I was awake only after I had turned off sleep (gave up falling back to sleep even though it is too early to be awake...). Also, every single snore recording is of my sleeping partner. He is a massive snorer, and I know its him and not me because I know how he snores and he has describes my snoring to me; they are very different. He is possibly suffering from sleep apnea and is scheduled for a sleep study soon. His snore is loud and distinctive. This happened before, and IMO, snore detection in this app is an absolute waste for anyone who does not sleep alone. It is just a microphone listening for snore sounds; it can't tell who is making them. Consider this before you try it and understand that this app has limitations. The gentle alarm feature is ok, but I more often than not wake up before it, so I am not sure how effective it is or might be for others.

No matter where or how I put my phone, it never senses any movement.
  • Not accurate

The app can’t tell when I’m awake or asleep very well. The wake up sequence is nice though.
  • You can’t improve what you don’t measure

Great way to measure sleep quality! Best of the apps I’ve tried. Love the Premium feature...I have over 2,800 nites of data so far. Which is the best testimony I could ever give. Suggested improvements: - When I wake up in the middle of the nite and look at the Sleep Cycle screen, it tells me what time it currently is, but no wish it would also tell me in smaller font what time I went to sleep (I usually some remember). Maybe it could list current time, time you went to sleep/activated Sleep Cycle, and the difference/duration (amount of time you have been asleep). - Various helpful sleep tips are periodically offered on-screen, but they are not easily findable after that. Would be nice to have a library of those suggestions. - Create an interface on the web so I can log into Premium on my laptop and analyze my sleep data. Other apps (such as Garmin watch for running) allow such online data analysis since the phone screen is too limited to look at data carefully. - Allow me to change my login email address that I used to set up my Premium account years ago. I no longer use that email address. - I use multiple devices (iPhone and iPod) and it would be better if they would both sync immediately to the Premium cloud when I open the app, or if you could add a sync button. As it is, I cannot see last nite’s data on the other device (i.e., the device I did not use to actually record the data). It can take a long time for the data to sync to both devices.
