Got it to read code cheaply and now got a used ipad mounted in my Magnum for a dashboard. Only wish it had more PDSs for dodge, I’m working on learning the coding. I’ve ma de several layouts WITH it’s gauges to just need to learn how to share them

I’ve had the app before. Had to repurchase the app on my phone rather than my fiancé’s. It will not connect with an iPhone. Wish I would have known before spending TEN DOLLARS on an app we previously had no problem with. Upon googling the issue, the website tells you there is a separate piece you need to purchase (BT1) for an extra $120!!!! Dollars. Bogus. Want my money back.

This app does exactly what I had hoped for, and then some... The year is 2020, I'm utilizing a super cheap ELM 327 wifi OBDII plug, and this app runs and operates flawlessly for thme most part, on an Apple iPad Mini (Circa 2012) Best 10 bucks I ever spent on my car, I think. :)

I have used this app for years, and always connect using a Wifi dongle I bought off of Amazon at the time. Now it refuses to connect even though other automobile diagnostic apps still work fine with my Wifi dongle. It would appear that DashCommand now requires you to use one of their expensive dongles to connect to the car. I tried to verify that with customer service, but they refuse to reply. Stay away. If they won’t take care of their longtime customers, then they definitely don’t care about the newbies... only your wallet.
  • Best OBD2 App.

I could only give it 5 stars. I recommend this app. It does the same and more than the hardware scanner tools. Compared to other apps, this is the one to choose. It may be a little difficult to set up the wifi interphase because you have to manually enter the IP and router info but it is well worth this extra effort. I really like this app. Hope the developers don’t change it.

This app has helped me identify the cause of two issues on my 2011 BMW. Also helped confirm manufacturers specs for engine power and acceleration. Well worth the low cost. Good support from the developer too.
