Love the possibilities with this app. We have recipes from hard copy to on line - I love being able to store them in one location. Love the menu planning for meals - worked great when planning a month on the sailboat and keeping inventory!!! Would like to see the ability to print out the menu in a list view.

I’ve only been using this app for about a week and so far I’m totally hooked! It does everything it promises and more. And unlike the other ones I tested, it’s a reasonable one-time cost vs a monthly fee. It does take some time initially to import all your favorite recipes from the internet but that’s a one time deal. It’s completely customizable from meal categories to stores you like to shop at, everything! If you REALLY want to use it to it’s full potential you can go through and inventory your entire pantry but that would take weeks in my case. Not to mention I don’t always use recipes and when I do I’m really bad about improvising them so it would’ve be very accurate. It does populate shopping lists based on your scheduled meal plans and inventory. You can then easily edit your list based on what you actually need. So far, I love it! Already stopped using the other shared shopping list. To use on more than one device, just use same login and sync. Super easy and user friendly.

I have been using MealBoard for years. It’s easy to import recipes from the internet. I plan my meals for the week and create a shopping list based on those recipes. Then I check to see what I already have before going to the grocery store. It saves me money, reduces food waste and helps me eat healthier. The one other feature I wish it had is a calorie counter. However, I have yet to find an app that combines all these features and nutritional information.

I spent to much time trying to figure out if I wanted MealBoard or Paprika. I read many reviews and decided to go with MealBoard specifically because of the barcode scanner in the pantry tab. I am really disappointed. I have scanned pancake mix and it comes up with “tv tub the Ching emperor” the “Sunkist tuna came up as dragon ball z Kai” and best of all the Campbells chunky chicken and dumpling came up as “Coed naked trucking XL” and it couldn’t find a lot of the other barcodes I scanned. I am hoping this is the only downfall, I am pretty excited to use this app. Update- The response time is fantastic. They apologized for the barcode stuff and said they are working on it. I also had another question for them at 10:00 at night expecting it to be awhile to hear from them and it didn’t even take 5 min!

I have a vacation home And a motor home. Have always had a problem of not having the ingredients I need or to many of an item I rarely need. I use this for planning meals while at a location and tracking my pantry needs and now have most of my favorite recipes in it. I especially love the shopping list and being able to email to my self. Over the years the updates are incredible. Like taking a photo of a recipe. Love to import from the internet too. It’s all great!

I had to muddle my way through the features due to the lack of a user guide which was probably not included because the app is generally straightforward. The app has nevertheless all of the features that I had sought unsuccessfully in other meal planner apps. If I could link the meals to the MyFitnessPal app, I would have an all-in-one solution to plan my meals and track my calories as well. Five stars!
