Add choice to block specific words.
  • Why?

For Parental control, why would the child have the ability to delete the Companion App on their phone? What would be the point then for a Parent to have Parental control and then have to pay for it?
  • Terrible because it doesn’t work

Links generated for kids’ phones don’t work. Then once installed and subscription started, the Companion app is even worse, because it literally does nothing! It opens and asks you to pair, it that’s it, no instructions or any way to actually pair. I can’t believe they charge money for a service that doesn’t even work, when it should just be free to customers. Garbage.
  • Paid tracked worse than free

During the trial period I was able to better track than with the paid version. Waste of money. Paid version was off by miles sometimes.

I will be deleting this app it's no worth the 7.99 a month I spend. This app does not display my child's accurate location. If he's in his room it shows that he is away from the house. If we are in the same room it may show that he's blocks away from the house. I have to log in and out several times before it gives me an adequate reading that my child is at home. Waste of money.

Prior to Att we had Verizon. The parent control app was way better. I didn’t have to install apps on the kid phones to control the phone. All done through our account. There is nothing to prevent the kid from uninstalling the app to get around the controls.

This app was great at first, I guess when they did the last update , all the issues started. The app isn’t letting you block Instagram, Snapchat etc.... it says it’s blocked & it’s not. Also my kids WiFi is blocked so that’s not the issue. It just doesn’t work & it’s frustrating because no one has a solution to the problem. The app needs a major update!!!
  • Disappointing, one star because when it works it great.

I have used this app on and off since it’s introduction. Unfortunately there are some consistent issues with the app when upgrading from one update to the next. As of now, the app give you little to no control of your child’s phone. Pausing internet, time control, app monitoring all stop working periodically until you delete the app and reinstall. The worst thing is you don’t know it’s not working until you walk into you child’s room and their watching YouTube at 2 AM on a Tuesday. It would also be helpful if when you call to get help that someone has answer other than I don’t know or look at the Att forum. Horrible experience.

I got this app to be able to turn off internet access for my kids phones after bedtime. It ends up turning off the internet for about half the apps. Totally useless. I wouldn’t use it if it were free.
