  • Disappointing

So many vexations - where is the winning caption? How to make cartoons or images bigger? How to hold on to your place even as you Chandigarh font size.
  • One of the best magazines around

Only criticism I have is that it’s awfully expensive. I subscribe to the print when it’s on sale but I could never afford the weekly newsstand price.

Kept my sanity so far. Only annoying thing is digital platform has an annoying sensitivity to touch. If you don’t handle exactly it zooms you off the article.

Of course this IDIOT went to Harvard. Of course this CREEP worked at The New Yorker. What kind of SICK, SLEAZY, SLUG do you have to be to do a toobin on a zoom online meeting? Oh, I know, someone who works at The New Yorker and CNN.

I’ve liked the New York App. It’s got good font options and each functionality. However, if I swipe left or right and leave an article I’m reading, the app bumps me back to the beginning of the article (not my prior location) when I return. I have to scroll back to where I was, which is frustrating.

ToC needs page numbers. Articles need page numbers.
  • Everything digital for the reader

Perhaps one of the few magazine apps where the power of words (written and spoken) moves you along. The reader follows the force of images, plot, or arguments. The scrolling works well, imperceptible almost. Because the writing is so good, you don’t even try to peek ahead and see how long it is. The audio by authors is fantastic. [But I wonder why I have to go back up top to move to the next item? Or is this user error?]
